One of my most favourite classes on Craftsy, thank you so much, Helen ! I definitely recommend this class to every quilter interested in English Paper Piecing ! And yes, I agree, the mirror is a beautiful tool for figuring out the motifs within a fabric!

It’s very difficult to find any videos on quilting an EPP quilt, my hexies appear sunk in after doing an outline stitch by machine, seeing your quilt helped me realize the loft of by batting is too thin, probably better suited for using hand appliqué to stitch them down and hand quilting. It seems like you need a batting with a lot of loft to keep the shapes from sinking in. I have seen appliqué quilts with really sculpted surface texture that really made the quilting stand out by using one layer of poly cotton and 1 layer of wool batting , I assume it was Hobbs batting. Curious what you used here.

Is there a way to get the class materials (to print) that would have been included with the Craftsy class? I have watched the video on Bluprint but I am unable to download or even view the accompanying printed materials after Bluprint stopped so abruptly.

The seams are already flat from when you folded them over the paper.
