Thank you so much for this video sir... but then i disagree with the subsequent radius you used.. if the radius for L2 is half the length of L1 then radius of L3 should be half of the length of L2 being calculated. I stand to be corrected.

benedict solomon ohh no man. only the radius of slab should be used always which is half of L1. this radius is for all bars.

because the radius in the formula is the radius of the circle ......... as the circle does not change so its radius does not change...

You have used D2/52.9 and there is also another formula to calculate the weight i.e D2/162. Is there any difference between these formulas?? If yes,then what is the difference and if no then why different numbers in denominator??

Yeah. There is a huge difference... D2/162.198x L is for MKS system where diameter of bar is taken in mm and length of bar is taken in meters. (Note: video for proof of this formula is in playlist of Quantity survey) and D2/52.9 xL is for FPS system.

sir, why we multiplied by 2 in this formula 2*R^2-h1^2 over root ? And also how to change #4 into diameter and last one is how to convert D^2/52.6*L Into D^2/162 *L

raman shah the formula gives one side cutting lenght and we need for both sides. thats why we need 2 in formula. #4 bar is just bar having 1/2 inch diameter.
