Useful vocabulary:
✔️ candidate - someone who wants to be the chosen person in an election
✔️ slogan - popular phrase or sentence used repeatedly by politicians
✔️ proven track record - past experience which shows you can do a particular job
✔️ our time has come - we will now get what we have waited for
✔️ moving words - words that produce strong feelings in the listener
✔️ The Democrats - one of the big political parties in the USA
