Born muslim from Sri Lanka and have been practicing my religion because i was taught how to pray fast and basically live like a muslim the whole 38yrs of my life. Beautiful movie. Loved it. Shame it kept stopping and starting the whole way through though and the picture was distorted in a few places but what a beautiful telling of the story of Muhammad. Im catholic and have only just begun reading the Quran having been inspired by the people of Gaza with their unwavering belief and love for their Allah and the prophet Muhammad. Blessings to all.

The cave of Hira scene (1:29:00) is the most beautiful, soul cleansing scene in any movie I've ever watched. It's so mystical. Whenever I see it I feel calm and refreshed and forget the materialism that blights the West. I want to visit the Middle East. Just don't mention Muhammad's pedophilia, it tends to upset some who can't get their heads around the truth, which they admit in many circles. One of the most oft repeated excuses for Muhammad's child sex activities, is that it was normal for back then, which is a sound argument. Then it gets ridiculous because the apologists also throw in the line about desert environments making girls more mature, which has never been confirmed by any significant study. Islamic apologists use their favourite tool, which is Mental Gymnastics, they use all sorts of wild and wonderful fanciful theories to justify anything Muhammad did, all the slavery, rape, murder, theft, conquest, general warfare......all justified. The Quran itself is one long, badly written excuse manual for the prophet.

Muhammad, peace be upon him did not start a religion brother. His religion was the same religion as all previous prophets preached. ISLAM. as a word it means "Submitting to the will of God" no prophet start a religion. They are chosen by God. And are given a task to deliver the message. It's always a heavy task. Because it comes with suffering and pain. But they take on the duty and deliver what they are ordered to do.

I am from Khorasan, from Fars, which is now called Afghanistan, where Salman Fars is from, and both my language and my race, he was one of the companions of Muhammad. The Prophet (PBUH) said that if one day knowledge goes to the sky, know that it will go from Persia. Alhamdulillah that my country has 100% Muslims.
