For auto body where the finished part needs to be say 20 gauge steel and you need to stretch out a complicated shape would it be best to start out with 18 gauge because it will get thinner in the wheel?

ELPaso1990TX If the project's metal is 20 gauge, you should work with 20 gauge because the metal is not going to get significantly thinner in the wheel.
