When I recommended an English learner watch one of my older videos, they said they didn't want to watch it because the video was made years ago. I replied that the English they were using to speak was also likely something they learned years ago. But they used it incorrectly because they hadn't gotten enough review. So rather than trying to find the latest content, it's much better to review content the right way to build fluency. This video shows you how. :)
The following examples of vocabulary all express the idea of missing an opportunity, usually because you were too late, or made some kind of mistake. This is an example of naturally varied review, which helps you review vocabulary and build fluency without boredom:
Blow your chance
Lose out on
Miss the boat
Let the chance go by
Let a chance slip through your fingers/slip by you
Drop the ball
Fumble the opportunity
Fail to seize the moment
Not capitalize on
Snatch defeat from the jaws of victory

I live in Canada and I have to speak all days in English. I studied and when I traird to say something I just mixed all the words. I've said somethings like "How is your name" instead "What" and everybody things that I can't speak English. 😢I studied grammar a lot and I am trying to speak well but It never happens

The channel should be called “EnglishAnyone with an American accent”. Good content nonetheless!

In fact, there are many more Americans than English who speak English... Don't you think so? 😉

@@MC-bq9dj So what? What's your point? There are many more Brazilians than Portuguese people who speak portuguese, yet it's called "brazilian portuguese".

Take seriously this kind of content. First is knowdledge academic for the brain neocortex and coaching for the subconscious mind (the classes will give motivation, when the rocks in the path want to stop you). Both areas of brain are equally important for learning
