I think on the part about " IMMAGINARY WISHES USING THE VERB WISH ", She wishes she were born in a proogressive family " , that might be uncorrect. Maybe it should be : She wishes she had been born in a proogressive family. She was already born , if you use the past simple with wish that shows a wish about the present.
@EnglishWithAshish2 жыл бұрын
It's about the wish (as I mentioned in the video too), and we use the verb in the subjunctive form (simple past) to show that.
@jurisveratti44942 жыл бұрын
@@EnglishWithAshish ohhh ., ok you didn't say " she was born" but " she were born" .. I understand now what you mean.Instead , " She wishes she had been born in a proogressive family" is indicative mood to show a past wish , isn't it ?

Thank you. You are great at teaching. I would like to point out an error, so you can use it another time (if you haven't already done so). You used 'adviCe' (noun) where you should have used ''adviSe' (verb). 'adviCe' is what one gives when he they 'adviSe'

@@EnglishWithAshish welcome... but one thing if you don't mind... isn't interrogative mood is included in INDICATIVE mood ? What is your say in this matter?
@EnglishWithAshish4 жыл бұрын
You can do it. But when refer to an indication, it's usually a statement. That's why these two are kept seperate. That's what I feel, Neetu!

Don't touch my phone! Help me with this questions, please! Sir, we put a full stop at the end of an Imperative Sentences (as in the 3rd and 4th), but in the above examples there are Exclamations. is it possible sir?
@EnglishWithAshish3 жыл бұрын
if the sentence is exuding a strong emotion, use an exclamation mark at the end. If not, end it with a period.
