Honestly, I think that the last of your advice was really helpful. Many times while I was watching a movie in origianl language I wrote down words which I couldn't understand but then, I didn't check regularly in which skills I was lacking. You're right, because if I'll be able to start making practice in a short period of time, I'll be able to make lots of progress. Most of all, I could do it on a daily basis. Thank you so much. i play video games all day every day at the moment. i'm sick, can't go anywhere, can't do most things but sit and lie on the bed all day. so playing video games is the only way to help me get through days and nights. i'm bored, depressed as fu**, kinda loosing my hope maybe, i dunno. anyway, in video games i play, there are certain points you have to listen or read and cannot skip or ignore because what you have to listen or read is the information or instructions to pass tha level. at least i'm learning some English from that.

English with Lucy it's better to just put like a small letter box on the bottom of your videos (skip to .... for the lesson) than completely exclude it. the first step to understand foreign language is to listen, and your small talk in the beginning is really helpful

I used to watch american movies in my language and translate instantaneously in English, trying to understand how they were saying this or that also watching the mouth of the actors and it had become an obsession, I couldn't watch anything without thinking it in English but it helped me a lot. Now I do it too sometimes but not that often.
