This is very nice. I came to find Lucy's channel at a point in my life where probably I don't need much more improvement, but still of course I'm no native speaker (38y old Portuguese, here). What most struck me was the pure authenticity mingled with the teaching techniques. It simultaneously took me back to a time where I was struggling to understand the culture and learning every bit of info I could together with feeling nice and safe knowing my teacher was a master at it and knew exactly how to steer anyone to improve themselves Not only that: Lucy is much more engaging and impactful with the teaching than I remember any of my teachers or inspirations I had before were. Nowadays I just marvel at how intelligently and nice she puts it all together :) and in a fashion that completely removes from the cold, boring, dehumanizing classroom "english teaching" lots of people surely got, to the wholesome, familiar, positive energy laden content we get with Lucy, Cherry on top is: she's really beautiful (there, I said it), Will is amazing and handsome (there, I said it), they seem to have an amazing life - it's like proof incarnate that regular people with good core hearts can inspire all. Cheers to you both and wishes of all the happiness in the world. Forgive me if I'm not 100% correct: I wasn't a student, I was just a casual admirer.

I normally wake up between 5:00 and 5:30 and meditate 1 hr almost every day. However, these days I have been doing very early 2 hrs long cycle ride with my uncle. So, my meditation is moved to bedtime. Breakfast between 7 - 7:30 and start my day. Go to bed at 10 or 10:30 normally. Lucy Have you tried meditation as part of your daily or weekly routine? I live in Turkey and our daily routines change according to the regions we inhabit due to geographic climates. In the north we wake up at 8 a.m while when you move to southern sides the sun sets earlier. As now I am staying in the seaside resort,I will explain my routine from the southern area's conditions.I wake up generally at 6.30 a.m and get up at 7.30 a.m.I have breakfast at 8.30 a.m.Meanwhile,Turkish breakfast is also well-known for its specialities. For example at breakfast we have boiled-scrambled,sunny-side-up eggs, tasted bread, cheese, olives, honey, homemade jam, kashar cheese herby cheese, heavy cream=Turkish cream as main dishes,in addition pastry with feta cheese filling, pouf beurek, timbale=puff pastry with meat kebap filling, turkish pancake, turkish style fermented sausage=bologna, hot sauce, turkish style scrambled eggs with chopped onions, tomatoes and sliced green peppers =spicy turkish omlette, pastry with meat or cheese filling, a savory bun, molasses with tahini and etc.In short,we have great many types of cheese, jam, pastry, olives, kinds of cooking. After breakfast,I do the chores and have a walk by seaside, come home and begin reading for a while,I help my mum with the cooking and study some grammar, literary theories, read some essays.I totally agree with you Lucy,in the mornings it is diffucult for me to get up,I think I am a night owl.Warm wishes from Turkey.

I am retired now and go to bed around 1 AM. Get up whenever I want which is usually around 8 to 9. I am not at breakfast either so I usually have a half a banana and a latte at around 9 o’clock. I have egg salad or yogurt for lunch about 1230 and then my husband and I have dinner between six and 630 which is good barbecuing through the summer which is a long summer for us. We usually have meat vegetable and a side dish, my husband always has a little food in the evening with a small bowl of ice cream and then I skip that I love watching you, so keep it up.

No I think you misunderstood it you will know when you start a KZbin channel [reason = all people in the world do not now English and they have come here to learn English so if they talk in their own accent loads of people won't understand so he spoke so that everyone can understand]

If everyone spoke so slowly, it would be great. I understand almost everything, but nothing in movies. Thank you for all your videos. I love your lessons.

When I was first learning English, I didn't also understand fully when natives speak fast. I had a thought that I wouldn't be able to learn English ever. But everything has changed. The secret is watching whatever you find in English even if you don't understand it. Good luck!!!

It comes with time. First time I watched movie in English was when Django came out, and I couldn't understand almost anything. I thought I've had some issues with listening, I was also bad at listening in school classes, but after 2 or 3 years I started watching only English speaking youtube channels, was listening mostly to English songs, then watched some tv shows (House of Cards, Breaking Bad, honestly any tv show is gonna be great for learning English). Then I went over some of my favourite animated movies, and since then I've only been watching movies in English. It comes with time, some people need a little more to learn. Best thing you should do is listen to English whenever you can, and don't think about learning language. When making dinner, google English recipe. If you're learning something new, you can read a book or article in English. Make listening/reading English part of your day/life rather than separating time for studying. You will be amazed in a year how much progress you've done.

Yeah, and she's a farmer's wife. I already knew Lucy is a country girl who is just taking advantage of her British nationality. She just focuses on pronunciation that too w/o giving any tips. I haven't seen her explaining some difficult grammar rules. 😆 and Asians ko koi pendu angraiz bhi dikh Jae tau pagal hojate hein. 😆😆😆

The way he speaks is so clear and so refined. I wonder if he speaks like that in reality. Most farmers speak with that country accent. There is a name for it but right now it is late and I cannot for the life of me remember what the accent is called. PS I am in the UK
