GREAT video - Thanks! But you never showed us how to set up the rotary tool - which port do we plug it in? What are all the other attachments? I know the title doesn't say complete set up from start to finish, but do you have a video like that? I have no clue and its frustrating to say the least. Thanks.

When you get the accessory it comes with an instruction manual and a link to a set up video. Both are also on their website. It's really easy to follow so I didn't want to replicate that here. It plugs into the accessory port on the side of the machine. There are a bunch of ways to set up the chuck for various sized items, but the process of engraving is similar for each one. I have a full set up video for this accessory and the M1 linked in the description.

Great video, been waiting to see some videos on the F1 Ultra on Tumblers. Question... what was the reason to change from the Fiber to the Diode between the two tumblers?

Personal preference. You can get a deeper engrave on bare metal with the fiber vs just etching the surface with the diode. Thanks for watching!

Power 45 speed 50 with 1 pass worked great for me on glass using tempera paint.

Thanks for doing this video, I've been wondering what it would be to do this with my f1 utlra. Question I have is I see some folks saying to not just burn the coating away, but to engrave it with color... have you done much of that yet? i spent the morning trying to learn but there is little on it and most videos i find are using other mopa fiber lasers

I have not tried that yet, but it's on my list of things I need to do. This works best with stainless steel. I would do 2 test grids on a stainless blank, one for each laser. You can achieve neat colors with either one. I have seen tumblers where the diode is used to burn away the coating then a second pass can color the blank space. As soon as I have it figured out I will post a video!

Does the XCS software take in to account the taper on the tumbler when doing a full wrap like one like you showed? How to you ensure centerline alignment without the Plus model of the RA2 Pro?

Great question. This tumbler has a slight taper and it wrapped the image all the way around beautifully. The software doesn't recognize the taper. I used the diameter of the largerest end for reference. However, with something more tapered the delux RA2 Pro version would be a better option. It allows you tilt more and accommodate for the angle.
