Stupid question Im sure. But is this just with the regular laser? I don't have fiber or infrared yet but would love to do wallets

This is with a very low power diode laser. I have upgraded since then but this was done with the Ortur LM2 15watt diode. Which is basically a 5 watt output. So can be done with a lower level laser easily.

@@TorchedWoodWorks No this one is blue. I was doing 80mm and 90 laser.. won’t touch it..take it out put wood there and it will burn it…then I put my wallet under and it won’t touch it either

Great Video! Hey question for ya…When engraving an image/logo on one of these that has a black background behind your image….will the laser pick up the black background and engrave it? Or do you have to go into a image program and change the background to white?…..Thanks man great vid!
