That’s a great name. Jörmundgandr, the name of the World Serpent a.k.a. the Midgard Serpent or Midgårdsormen as we say here in Sweden. Very fitting for a snake themed Viking sword.

I saw your channel for long and this is by far your best creation. Just the part of engraving it's way too crazy. I'm carpenter and chisel wood it's such a pain in the butt, thinking about those tiny details in metal requires an infinite amount of dedication. You used a bunch of quite unique techniques here, also make the blade was really interesting. Great work, you should be extremely proud of yourself!

There is a theory that King Arthur was actually a Celtic/Viking war chief, given the probable time of his reign, assuming he was real. If that is so, then it is likely Excalibur would have been a one-handed Viking style broadsword. I think you have re-created that famed sword! It is magnificent, and a true heirloom quality blade, worthy of King Arthur himself, should he arise again as the legends foretell.
