I'll also add two more, not very common, but this can be useful too: - to take or allow a discount \ examples: ''I just took 10 percent off the top''; "I take ten percent off the top of Bob's earnings". - to imitate someone in such a way that you make other people laugh \ example: "Beth can take off Judy Garland brilliantly".

"Laughing out loud" is the most common usage of "LOL," but some people use it to mean "Lots of love." Ignore those people, though. ;) Most use it to mean "Laughing out loud."
