Because the bike is also sold to EU and there is should be restricted. The advanced settings and unlocking is not for everyone as there are a lot of pople changing other settings they should not ending in getting an nonworking bike or killing the battery.

Thanks for this - I have a new Engine X, but cannot alter the speed limit or engage the throttle function with these instructions. The figure (25km) flashes, but the + or - buttons don't change the figure. May it have something to do with the chosen wheel diameter? Our wheels are 20", so why have you set yours to 24"? Also, the throttle function which others show how to engage, also does not work as on earlier Engwe bikes such as yours, as in when I've activated it, no matter what assist level I choose, it will only go to c6mph! Could all these issues be due to new firmware from Engwe I wonder, to stop us doing these things? Thanks

You should check the assist sensor, is on the crank axle.

I have a question. I managed to activate the throttle but I could only achieve 7km/h. After a lot of internet research I found a way to get maximum performance by pressing the + and - buttons together for about 30 seconds. The problem I now have is that I get maximum power at all of the assist levels and no matter which gear ratio is selected, so it's very difficult to control. How do I adjust each assist level individually?

I have an engwe l20se got the same display. Wondering if you know this display if faulty as I charged my battery fully but it only shows one green bar, when using my bike the battery meter flashes telling me no more charge! The bike keeps working on throttle and pedal assist. Please help with your thoughts

No, it can not be enabled / disabled on the go. Only stationary and only like in this video.

I think it's possible. You should first disable it from settings, then you can unplug it and see if you get any error codes.

I can see on your other video that it can be unlocked tonanmax of 60 kmh. Which could also be 45 kmh. But is it possible to adjust the throttle to a certain speed, let's say assist to 25 kmh, even though the bike can go the 45 kmh?

The bike has default 5 electric "gears", each as a speed and power ratio limit, so 1st gear is ~10km/h, 2nd is 18km/h, 3rd is 25km/h, 4th is 35km/h and 5th is unlimited. So both assist & throttle is limited to the gear ratio. The throttle is also fully proportional so on 5th gear you can ride it from ~10km/h up to maximum of 45+km/h. You can see a lot more details about this in my full review about this bike. Just look it up my channel.

That is just the LCD model, what it is displayed it's actually embedded in the LCD controller and in the bike controller. In short it's not possible on this model.

@@TechTronic9000 Yes it works for C20 Pro. I was sent your video from Engwe Support directly. The only difference with C20 Pro is that the display does not show "ERROR 22" when holding throttle+brake. But after doing the steps the throttle will still be unlocked.

hi,question please for cruse control, i deactivate the little heart logo on the display, but it not work really, if i hold the throttle at mode 5 high speed electric mode only more than 3-4 sec, the cruse is always on, i need to push rear brake 1 time for deactivate , if someone finds a way to deactivate completely cruse control come here to tell us , it's not that little heart logo that changes anything, whether it's on or not
