Great review! Doug and I purchased ours during vivid from a BC company, however, ours don't fold! We also recently, purchased the bike rack like yours for the front of the trailer. Thankfully, our bikes just weigh 40 lbs. Lifting those up on the rack is a bit challenging for our 72 age+ bodies! BTW, Cheryl, I am 5 ft and it fits me perfectly! Note: we just found out, a helmet is mandatory by law in Ontario, to e-books users. Great, you always wear yours!

@@elizabethc6354 you're very welcome. We found e-bikes to be a game changer. Lots more exploring to be done without wearing yourself right out.

We just purchased two as well. Different make, 😊but pretty much identical. They are a blast to ride. Great review(as usual).

There are so many E-bikes out there these days. I think a lot are very similar. They are fun and open up our area to explore. Glad you got some and enjoy them. Have fun!

Something to definitely think about. Thanks for the review, it really helped me understand how these bikes work. 👍🏻👍🏻

E-bikes are a little strange to ride for the first time. They take some getting used to. But after a while they're a lot of fun and they become another arsenal in our camping gear to help us explore further.

Excellent review. Do we know what the weight is with the battery out? Or would be that big of a difference for lifting?
@CampingwiththeColes2 ай бұрын
@@makwanorth4270 I'll have to weigh it that way when I get home. Camping now, so it'll be a few days.

Thanks for doing that review. I checked out the listing on Canadian Amazon. There was a negative review that I would like to hear your thoughts of. One of his main concerns was the hinge mechanism and that it was noisy, lightly constructed and likely to fail catastrophically. Possibly it could/woild be interesting to have you do an ongoing review of the items that you have previously reviewed. Kind of a longer term, and if the items are still worthwhile. Are you going to the Toronto falll RV show this weekend?
@CampingwiththeColes2 ай бұрын
@@jeffhelsdingen4354 strange. The hinge doesn't make any noise on ours. It feels very sturdy. It's Cheryl's regular bike now so you'll see it in future videos. We'll see how it holds up over time.

Good review. Are the motor and battery UL or CSA certified? Thanks
@CampingwiththeColes2 ай бұрын
I'm definitely not an expert in E-bikes but according to the specs it says "UL 2849 Certified/GCC/GCC-CPSC-16CFR1512". Not really sure what that means but it looks like it's UL certified. Hope that helps.
@charliemanders14172 ай бұрын
@@CampingwiththeColes I do know if the battery is UL certified it will have the logo affixed to the battery case. Thanks

We are starting to look at E-bikes, so the timing is GREAT. One question I have is, they offer an entry level bike, and with other options it moves them up to an advanced model? Why not start higher than an entry level and possibly save money by not having to buy another to move up? Just a question from a beginner E-bike guy. Thanks for the review. We aren't that far away from you, do you have a local bike shop you'd recommend?
@CampingwiththeColes2 ай бұрын
@@CreativeCustomDesigns for many people the entry level e-bike is all they'll ever need. It's all about price. They aren't cheap and you can get to over $10,000 for high end e-bikes. I bet that this e-bike is all Cheryl will ever want. Personally I'd like one that's a little higher end with a torque sensor. We'll see what the new year brings.
@CreativeCustomDesigns2 ай бұрын
@@CampingwiththeColes you think the torque sensor is the way to go?
@CampingwiththeColes2 ай бұрын
It's a personal preference. I have a Dahon K-One. It has a torque sensor. It's a very natural way to ride. It feels right. The cadence sensor in Cheryl's old e-bike and this one, is not like riding a normal bike. You barely peddle and the bike takes off. Cheryl doesn't like the torque sensor.

Thank you for the review. I was wondering how many km you would get on a battery charge. I realize it all depends on how much the battery is used.
@CampingwiththeColes2 ай бұрын
@@michaelmayes-stewart9569 it's still fairly new to us. We haven't dropped it down to a dead battery yet. Engwe says you can get up to 110km on a single charge. I suspect that's not using much throttle.
