Engwe X26 eBike Review By Someone Who Actually Uses It

I like your review on this e-bike.. I’ve only been looking at e-bikes for a little while but I believe a vehicle weight of over 100 pounds isn’t all that great and would keep me from purchasing this one but I do like the range and ability to fold the bike. I saw a diy e-bike mod that had a bike trailer with solar setup which powered/recharged/extended the range of the bike. I believe this modification was in this weight range. The main advantage to that setup was the bike and trailer were easily separated when needed thus the bike with on frame battery weighed about 50 pounds which is much more manageable for folding and maintenance. Thank you again for your honest review of this bike.

Perfect unbiased review! Thank you I saw this like a year ago on ebay and just now learned the name! Might get this in the future! I love the size! Hope they make a newer model of this where u can charge it from the racks and a proper rack in the back!

I have been watching the X26 since it came out. Good video. Like you have always thought the back seat was a joke. However, thought it would make a nice platform for a dog seat. I have a med size dog..about 40lbs. but don't want a trailer or trike. Love to hear some of your thoughts.

Take the bike to a welder, fabricator. Tell him exactly what you want. Bolt it straight on 😚✅ Three hours labour and paint it yourself as a project :) custom cushion and all that for the pooch? Forget about the cost, and enjoy the knowledge that you’ll be the only one with this X26 rear end 🐶 Enjoy your adventures John!

Nice informative video!Everyone thinking of buying a new e-bike, needs to wait a year so the company can fix the bugs. Weight of the bike is very important, some e-tanks are too big and heavy for a fat tire bike rack. If you don’t have a truck or van you’ll be SOL to transport it.

My main concern are the bushings at the pivot points on the rear suspension apparatus.

Is there an air nipple valve for putting psi into the shocks? Have seen many mountain bikes with those setups. I’m not a fan, though there is love for them I guess? Apologies if there’s no way to fill them with air lol

on that trip i really cranked it tight and it was better but I'm not sure if that helped or it was all the mud on the bike, lol.

Is there any type of anti theft security in this bike to cut off power? I mean in engwe engine pro You need to put inside key to power on bike, but i dont see something like this in x24? Does it mean You dont have any protection? And when You leave bike anyone can just power it on and drive?

I STRONGLY believe that THIS is the bike I will purchase ... one of the first things to do is REPLACE the tires with tires made more for the street because I will most likely NOT be going off road at any time. I stand at 6 foot 4 inches and weigh 310 lbs. This bike will be an around town kind of bike ... mainly on paved ground

It’s a nice bike but not the most powerful in its price range the wired freedom has 60 volt and 1500 watt motor that peaks at around 2300 watts for $1999 but I had to pay $200 for shipping however I do like the mag style rims more than spokes

In Europe this eBike is illegal. Look for the new regulations, it is easy to find.
