@@francisorate6037 anything that you can use hotkeys with, you can set up on this. I don’t recall it coming with a PowerPoint profile but you can certainly configure buttons for play etc by assigning hotkeys.

are the settings stored on the device? I want to use it with an iPad where you can't install the software

No. You have to have the software installed on any computer you use it on. if you want to use the settings on multiple computers you need to export the configuration from 1 computer and load it on to the others.

You mention it connects with bluetooth, but that's not true.

It won’t connect to a device just using Bluetooth, you have to use the dongle. My understanding was that the dongle connectivity was a form of bluetooth but perhaps it is a different method. Whatever the protocol is, you can’t use it wirelessly without the provided dongle. Thanks for letting me know.

Hi Toot! New subscriber here. I just wanted to ask if the knob will work on DaVinci Resolve? many creators are switching to Resolve for its efficiency and reliability. I can't find any video showing the scrub functionality Resolve. Would you do a quick check if this feature if it works on DaVinci Resolve? Cheers!

Hi Andy. Thanks for subscribing. I don't have DaVinci, I am a Final Cut user. The dial allows you to set key commands for clockwise and anti-clockwise. If your software allows you to scrub using a shortcut (arrows, +/- or so on) then you will be able to configure the dial to do this. Looking it up, DaVinci supports single frame forward and back using the arrow keys so you will be able to use the dial with DaVinci for scrubbing. The only thing I would say is that any dial I have ever used, including the Quick Keys, can struggle with high speed usage and is rarely as smooth as i would like it to be. If you pick this up from Amazon you have loads of time to return it if it doesn't meet your needs so maybe that's an option for you if you have concerns.

Late response... the stream deck is great, a fantastic too. I started on the regular one but soon moved on to the XL as I needed more buttons available quickly for producing my competitive casts. I'd like to try out the Stream Deck + but I don't think there is really enough of a use case for me right now to spend that much. Maybe if I started streaming again but not at the moment :(

To a degree, perhaps yes. If this was my first such device and was someone who would see consistent usage through the day on something like photoshop it would be absolutely fine I think. I've been spoiled by the Stream Deck though and I'm a user that hops from app to app and doesn't sit at the computer all day which makes this a little less viable for me.
