I've tried these and they work as they're supposed to. However, I prefer the magnifiers that clip onto my glasses as they give me a wider field of vision and are bulkier so can't hide as readily under fabric. And I don't have to worry about popping those little magnifiers off my rulers because they sometimes go flying. Or get knocked off my cutting table so I have to spend time hunting for them. Otherwise these little dots definitely make ruler markings easier to see.

What the best cutter you used. I’m having trouble getting the olfa cutter to cut commercially through. I’m pressing down but there are spots that didn’t cut. Also….how do you get your ruler not to move while cutting?
@joyfulandmerryquilting5 ай бұрын
I just use the Olfa Cutter with a Titanium blade. Usually, if there are spots that don't cut, it means you have a nick in your blade. Also - make sure you have your index finger straight on the handle (the spot where there are ridges on the handle - your finger fits right in). I think it would be a great tutorial - it's hard to explain in words. Thanks for asking!

Using Accuquilt dies is accurate cutting and no need to squint at rulers, unless it's a realy odd piece size.

For those who have access to an Accu-cut machine and dies, this is a great option. This video is for those who do not have an Accu-cut Machine. In addition, once the cut pieces are sewn together, you will need use a ruler to square up the finished pieces and I found these magnetic disks to be very helpful. Thanks for the tip and for watching!
