I quit this game after 2 times of trying to go for only 1 fricking PEN and ruined all my TET gear 2 times. It was back in the old days. I want to return which is 2021 now and give this game another chance by avoiding enhancing. I wonder If i never tried enhancing would I still quit the game. Gambling is an unhealthy thing guys, don't do it. Back in my time, there was no PEN of my gear and I had to do it but I regret that I did not wait until someone put it on the market. Trying to become no 1 among my friends was a challenge to me but since all my friend quit because of this same reason, I guess I will not be playing the game much after return as well I guess.

So after a few months of enhancing and rewatching this, I wanted to add a factor, that often the things we need to enhance are given to us/grinding drops, while the market takes about 35% so not sure if that is calculated in there, but you do take a significant loss buying your items by selling your stuff. I might venture to say that going anything up to tri might be worth doing for most, but yeah tet and pen seems like you want to stay away, especially if you can't recover the loss. I have watched many profit from enhancing, and much like you show with the loggias, you can come out ahead, but you need to invest a whole lot up front, rather than doing small enhancing amounts because it really hurts way more. Thank you for making this, doubt you'll read this, but you saved me a bunch of time trying to figure out the system on my own. I'm a WoW refugee* and one of those rare species called new players in BDO. Basically, I wanted to try the game and see for myself how far I can get in just about a week. Started a seasonal character, and got tuvala gear to III and weapons to V in about 2 days (roughly 50+ hours playtime).

Haha I love the beginning bc I definitely have gone insane enhancing my own gear. I ended up buying gear but I made all the money enhancing cheap accessories for massive profit. But with releases like the season server where you could easily get Tet/Pen tuvula gear which will translate to Tri/Tet boss gear once the server ends there really isn’t a point in enhancing your gear. You pretty much are being handed endgame gear that you can use to grind for more money to eventually buy gear.

I started with the SA seasonal servers opening and even after watching the video i though "ahhh, It cant be that horrible" After being 1 item away from Full PEN tuvala im already thinking "Nah, not enhancing after season ends, fuck that, thats completely insane" after wasting 200-300 tuvala ore and making 2 TET rings Just to break it on PEN Plot Twist: i have 2.6k time-filled stones and im already thinking "should i give It another try? Thats a lot of FREE failstacks 8D" Godamnit this game bruh. You fail, you cry and the Very next day you're making the same fucking mistake, what is wrong with this game?!

Great video! Also ppl need to STOP using memory fragments to restore durability on shit you can buy from NPC's. Unless it is boss gear you dont need memory fragments. If you need to restore durability of something, (Sundo Kerispear +14 at 80 durability) for example. Go to an NPC that sells non-upgraded sundo spears and buy 2 of them. Then go to a blacksmith to restore durability. Select your +14 spear and then sacrifice the 2 non-upgraded spears to restore 20 durability to the +14 spear at the cost of 240,000 silver vs the millions you would spend on memory frags.

U should use reblaths also for pri duo and tri also, but I am lazy so i just bought grunils at pri and started enhancing :) in a perfect world, u would build a bunch of +14 and pri reblaths

If u want to enchance for money just start +15 -> duo onf 15 fs 3 clicks, then when fail 3 x pri clicks sell duo/pri armor and repeat. Buy mysterious earring from blacksmith and smash it at 0fs until u get 2-3 fs then use reblath. The reason u want to buy mysterious earring is coz its cheaper to use 0-+3 fs smashing earrings, and soemtimes u get blue earring thats worth 2-14mil. But the ultimate guide is to not enchant at all :) And to be honest you should not go over 15-16 reblath and just use some pri helmets, coz if it went up to duo you have now a piece that u can turn later in higher fs. Even 20fs reblath is pushing it. For me it goes +15 too many times above 15 fs i rather just click +15 or pri few times

there is one problem though, it takes 15 stones (1,5m) to go from +14 -> +15. Maybe one can use it for higher stacks, like 23+ since then its 1m per try until TRI and easy to upgrade (if you have the ore)

Because black residue is kinda free if you have a lot and grunil still costs a bit of money. Maybe Taritas or other cheaper helmet might be same cost if their price is around 30k per piece

I hate enchanting. Its a wonder why I even did the blackstar weapon quest today! I've almost quite 2-3 times (1 per month, so far) because of enchanting. I'd honestly rather just buy ... but ... everything is so expensive, and I hate grinding (boring!).

Is there a good way to value a failstack? I'm having a hard time figuring out how to calculate the chance of it passing. by that I mean apart from the value of the durability and stone how much value(silver) should I add per attempt on each fail as the chance rises. is there a good spreed sheet of this or does someone have a method that they use to do this.

sometimes it seems rewardy and out of sudden u will find yourself at the bottom of hell before you even notice just remember : it was a lucky moment it will never happen again and If u really into this shit just make sure you have the double of what u gonna use and if u lost it do not try again until u got that double again this is why I only enhance in bdo when I have dual screens setup cuz when I lose one I always have a backup

I use a below lvl 10 neg karma character to downgrade armor. the guards kill you the armor has a good chance of downgrading...and free rez on the spot so the guard can keep killing you till armor drops in grade......

Im new to the game played about non stop for two weeks trying to rank up tuvala, tried to rank awakening weapon from tet to pen and got my weapon back to duo, I also lost 800 cron stone, a decent amount of +60 and +40 advice of valks and valks cry, and about all my refined magical black stone.. and I did almost all the quests that give those away.... After that I thought I made a huge mistake and wanted to kill myself, and now after watching this video and others, I feel like I wanna die even more, like it was a ridiculous choice to invest all my time into it.. Is it even possible to get full pen tuvala? And Im not asking if a hardcore player can get it, but if the average player can..? My point is, is it worth it for me to keep trying enhancing tuvala in the season? so far I got tri 4-piece armor tet main and sub weapon and (like I said) duo awakening weapon...........

Yes, but take it easy. As in, if u can't hit it now, save the big stacks for future :) Sometimes rng cucks u hard, so u gotta take it as: I am havin these stacks for my future, like now I have 5 100 stacks, those will be eventualyl (when i have money) for tet accessory attempts
