one thing I learnt about this pack at the start make a stone pick and upgrade using sharping kits this way you can repair the pick with stone and the sharping kits upgrade the mining level once you get a sustainable source of ores (sieving) this will not matter so much I would also use the first diamond on the pick as this will give it more durability

This is probably my favorite modpack, and it's surprisingly quite helpful for those who don't know expert modpacks. I couldn't get to the endgame, but I had plenty of fun getting close to it

An endgame challenge for you: you can entirely automate awakened draconium using phantasmal bees from forestry and the corporeal attractor from thaumic tinkerer. It is a very funny system to watch, even moreso on a server where you can spam the dragon death sound serverwide.

My biggest recommendation is abuse astral sourcery for all the perks and unusual automation methods you can

Mineralis rituals can automate some ore Tree beacons can easily automate wood so long as you can collect the drops (any vacuum hoppy type) The perks can help you with qol And the liquid starlight has some interactions with other fluids that can be used for basic automation of useful resources

Also mix and match, a wide mod base is almost as important as getting deep in one

It'll be locked for a while, but I want to push the magic mods pretty far in this pack. And any automation that differs from the usual mekanism spam is always interesting. So if you say astral sorcery can do that, I'll check it out when I get there.

Probably. The pack might've disabled armour melting, but It wouldn't be a big sequence break either way. Still funny though.
