A little tip for removing bearing races is to run a bead of weld around the race and it will fall out cheers

Cheers Ian for the interest and tip. I’m not an engineer but am learning so will keep this in mind for the next time when I’ll borrow Matt’s welder!

Another interesting episode Angus. I was surprised to see a needle roller for the layshaft in the drive side half. I shouldn't have been really because of my Gold Stars RRT2. Parts washer video next.

Thank's a lot for showing this, I was too puzzled why there wasn't any thrust washer inside the case in the partslist. It make sense to fit that washer inside as it seems to be made for that. My pleasure to be of any help.

If you don't mind, could you measure the outer diameter and thickness of the outer thrust washer for me. I'm not sure if I will do this conversion on my bike but I will concider it. If you still have it available will say. And the lenght of timing side journal would be great too.
