Looks like it's planted too close, especially as it's being cultivated as intercrop. Standard planting distance is 9*9 square.. Also I don't think this is a dwarf variety looking at the inter node distance..There is no recognized variety known as kasaragod dwarf, there is only vitlah dwarf that's released by cpcri vitla. Anyone who wants to learn arecanut farming should visit Keddalike Ganesh Bhat.
