Hi Joe the Guru ! I had just watched a review/demo for another similar sized camera .. afterwards your video showed up as "recommended" . Must say , your review was far and above superior in overall presentation, from explaining how to set up & use , changing modes, what the different flashing lights mean , how to change or activate time-stamp, etc. Not trying to make a judgement call on either device - just saying, if I went by the 1st review I watched , I wouldn't bother going any further in my quest for such a device, and would've thought they are all junk and just a rip-off ! Every time you say that the LED blinks 3 times it actually only blinks 2 times. Double blink indicates that night vision has been activated. To stop press and hold the power button for 3 seconds. Only then the LED will blink three times indicating that night vision has been deactivated. You don't have to turn off the camera every time you activate or deactivate mods.

There seems to be an error in this video. The motion detection function is not activated by pressing and holding the POWER button for any amount of time, but instead holding the MODE button for a few seconds when the camera is in standby. Then the camera takes a 1 minute clip, and after that automatically takes additional clips as motion is detected.

Hi, nice instructions.. my camera was working properly and set up on my local Wi-Fi. Now the camera doesn’t connect. How can I reset the settings if the pin via the reset hole doesn’t work. Pin goes to the end - no contact for reset.

When I did it on the one I ad, I didn't feel the reset. If I remember correctly, you will want to hold it for 10 seconds for the reset to take place.. It might be 30 seconds.

Hello I put a 16 gigabyte SD card. The red and blue light flashes for two seconds maybe three seconds and shuts off and I have no idea if it's working it doesn't seem to change modes or do any of its functions that were mentioned in your video I've tried resetting it but I have not had success with this camera

Hi Joe, excellent video, maybe the best SQ11 video on youtube to date. My question is, neither of my two SQ11 mini dv cams will record video, they record the sound, but no picture. I actually recorded your presentation here as a test, and your voice came through loud and clear for the 20 second recording, but no picture, just a black screen during the 20 seconds of hearing your voice on your vid. This is a problem with BOTH my SQ11 cams, do you have any idea what I may be doing wrong? I did some research online and apparently other people have this same problem but no solution was offered. Hey Joe... Good video. Thank you. One question regarding the night vision. I THINK I am activating this feature correctly, but nothing records more than 10 inches away from the camera. Is this normal?

its going to vary depending on the amount of available light. The little LEDs on the front are what send out the Infrared light for the night vision to work so you want to make sure that those are completely uncovered/un-obstructed.
