I have literally always been playing that “waiting” game for change . I’d think things like “Once I leave here I’ll get to xyz and be happy” this tends to make me almost robotic in my daily life because I take life day by day and wait for the day I’ll be “happy” and away from certain things .

i started my youtube 2 months ago as a way to escape a job and degree i hated. i soon became obsessed with the numbers and was constantly comparing myself to people that i looked up to. social media became a game that i just had to win. it was horrible and i had to remove myself from the social media "mindset" (dopamine detoxing) so that i wouldn't burn out. this video is so incredibly important.

Unequivocally in this season of my life where I am learning to love and embrace the journey because no matter how much you accomplish, you will never be fully satisfied if you're not at peace with it all - so in short yes this resonated od. I'll be rewatching to really drill this in my mind lmao

Wow I rarely comment but this video hit a spot with me because I’m turning 25 this year and the lead up to this age has been a roller coaster of emotions with one bad thing happening after another but I’m journaling rn and just laughing because shit just be happening and I’m grateful and excited for the journey

These are my favourite style of videos and this one came at the right time. Going through such a rough time lately and today but your "dont rush" made me remember I'm still young and have decades of my life ahead, so even if this phase is due to last another year (which feels like so long cause we all just want to be living our best life now) I will be OK eventually and to use this time to allow the growth, embrace it even. It's meant to be. The higher power isn't punishing us, if anything, if a bad thing is happening it's just to push me in the right direction with a strong lesson along the way. Love and guidance to all on their journey.

Soo crazy we’re walking a similar path! I traveled around Asia solo for 7 months and just moved to a new city when I go back to the states and have been going through it! Lol I’m healthy, have money, making new friends, but still am struggling with finding peace and positivity in my present moment. I’ve been beating myself up to get back into the grind, but not allowing myself to just live and go with the flow of life. This video came at the perfect time ❤️ we all have to trust the divine process and understand that it’s okay if our present moment is not where we want to be. The journey is what matters and not the destination and when you’re a go getter type of person, it’s very easy to lose focus of that. I thank you Lynette for making these videos and sharing your story, you’re a light in this world and I am sending lots of love and positivity while you continue to navigate through your journey. You’re gonna love New York! I was living there before leaving for Asia, but moved to Cali when I got back. I miss New York so much! Definitely more of a vibe there!
@hopekilo80718 ай бұрын
did you find inner peace whilst travelling asia ?
@troycampbell53448 ай бұрын
At times it was very peaceful but I think finding true inner peace isn’t from the environment your in, but more with the inner work, self love, and feeling of content in your life which is something I’m still working on.

This video is FOR ME! right now I think God has placed me in my self isolation journey, surprisingly it’s a lot easier than I thought it would be. I’m learning how to be patient with myself and my journey and just enjoy everything for what it is in the moment. I’m planning to move to Cali soon and I’m so excited but I have to be patient and wait for the right time although I really want to go right now!

I'm in a conflicting point in my life I really don't know what is the right path to take or what to do next. I'm sick of living with my parents but can't afford to move out in my country cos it's so expensive. I think I'm going to try live and work in Spain for the summer and that's what's solely on my mind right now and I find it hard to enjoy where I am now because I just wanna see what's next agh idk I just don't feel fulfilled rn I wanna break free everything feels so stagnant
@Lotsonoodles4you8 ай бұрын
Dude just take the leap, there is no right path something I remind myself of is that it’s never too late and while it may not be exactly how you planned you can get it done and have so much more control over your life when you start living for YOU. Spain sounds great and sometimes great things can seem scary but if you aren’t happy now then how much worse can it get?

@@Lotsonoodles4you thank you for the comment, I think a couple of days ago when I wrote this comment I was in a negative headspace. I really needed this video thank you 🙌 I think among busy times I often focus on very tiny details, which can be good for planning ahead and making sure I'm on top of things, but it also makes me too worried about each action I will take and what the outcome will be. I've been learning to really be grateful where I am, and to cultivate more joy in my everyday. Thank you for reminding me to embrace my inner child, and for reminding to enjoy the journey. It's a marathon not a sprint :))

Always love listening to you! I relate so much to the way you think, especially right now that I'm experiencing a lot of setbacks and placing a lot of pressure on myself to be where I think I should be rather than releasing my grip and trusting that things are happening the way they are for a reason. I'm learning to let go and be more open-minded with my journey. Thank you as always for sharing and being real.

And your videos and mindsets bring those sprinkles of hope again. Love the quote “life doesn’t happen you, it happens for you” makes me think just maybe there was a reason for all this esp during hard seasons

This was a well spoken video. I also would like the add the concept of perception over perspective. People are so caught up in their bubble and the influence of social media that they perceive their life and themselves to be something. The perspective of this is to see how much potential and capabilities you have as this spiritual being to be whatever you want to be. You just have to break out of that cycle of self-limiting beliefs and rewire your brain! ❤❤

Completely resonate with everything in this video! I had read the untethered soul years ago and it has similar notions that you had expressed in this video. Love this! Currently in my slightly optmistic season. Everything that I started years ago is finally starting to pay off and I am hyped for my new adventures.

Overall this was solid advice and put it back into perspective for me, I tend to lose sight at times since I’m still living in a toxic environment but this really helped me get back on track of just enjoying where I am now, also! The thing you said about buying experiences instead of things I really needed to hear this because I’ve been on autopilot the past few weeks with everything going on that I’ve just been buying things and ordering things instead of investing in experiences to make my inner child happy. It’s definitely what I need because when I receive the things I buy they only spark my interest for a short amount of time but a vacation or a trip somewhere always makes me feel refreshed and happier for months!

You always deliver on these gems!! One thing for sure I need to do more is journal DURING the time I feel out of alignment to validate my feelings without shifting out of the vibration or headspace I need to be in. Because I listen to my inner child so much, I am so thankful that the external pressure from family and close friends hasn’t crushed me completely. I’m human, but stepping back and realizing just how much they wanted me to live my life a certain way really allowed me to shift gears a while back to remember the important things and not doing it for the sake of others. Keep doing amazing things my love! I am so excited for your next chapter too, I call it the waiting room and there is so much greatness beyond its doors for you. ☺️🫶🏾💕

*The word Journey is severely over used on the internet just like Toxic and Vibes, and “ Living Your best life” etc. Life is just life you live it and it’s over…it’s not a journey because it can end at any time! This woman whole testimony about anything comes from a complaining “I’m busy getting in my own way” chasing the the world and it’s just aging her….she looks ten years older than she really is!!! She once said she doesn’t have any friends but has 300k followers and she’s not interested in being friends with any of those people? When she clearly could be….just shows you it’s all about the numbers….
