We fail ourselves. We live in limited bodies with rampant and ever-changing emotions. Trying to be your own god is exhausting, but God will fill in the gaps. Not even just that, but He will lead your life because He knows what HE created you for, with all of your unique gifts, talents, passions, characteristics, etc.

Face the fears that come with being consistent. When our dreams require us to show up in new ways it scares us. Not because our dreams are scary but because you want to do everything right. The uncertainty of the future you want but not be good at is a bruise to your ego. In order to keep yourself safe- you freeze. You sabotage the things that are in your hands that you want because it’s new & you haven’t taken the time to understand it’s function- the first sign of mistake or misunderstanding- you throw it to the ground out of frustration. 3:10 You have to change your emotional entitlement to the work you are too afraid to face. Yes, it will take more energy to do what you do now than before. That is the sacrifice that you decided you wanted when you claimed that this dream was also something that you wanted too. claim you are worthy of. Enough to have an expectation of something great within yourself to act on that greatness. When you deem yourself worthy of having an expectation of something great within yourself.

My ego is way too comfortable, I need to have the willpower to just get up and do and I am working on this step by step. As you say, I need to wake up to the reality that my dream life will not be given to me. Watching this made me feel so calm, and so so motivated-and reminded of my gifts. I'm a University student (who teaches piano on the side, loves the arts, etc) but NEEDS to finish this degree to pursue Law. I’m in the midst of learning consistency, I’m only on my 6th day of being consistent with changing my life, but I take pride in it because that’s basically almost the 10th day 😅 but I almost convinced myself to give up on the 4th day. My habitual program has so much resistance to this new change that I’m trying to bring, learning to recognize my brain and body’s cues as to when they are trying to resist the change I am implementing has been a great help, self reflection has been key for me in this process.
