Carol 💕 you make my day, so much fun to watch you 👀👀👀 you bring a breath of fresh air to slow stitching… I love the randomness, and the wonkyness…. (Not sure that’s even a word), but you have made it a famous one 👌 🥳 you never fail to make me smile 😊 hugs Jx

Hi Carol: Your little book page is adorable. I’m working on my tiny fabric zine, which is all fabric scraps and slow stitching. Lots of fun, and you can still be creative. Best part . . . Perfection not required. 💜😎🇺🇸

Ooh, Carol, I adore this kind of stitching! It’s relaxing, open-ended, absolutely without rules, and I love the idea of zero-waste! Some crafts seem to generate way too much throwaway stuff, from bags and packaging to leftover parts and pieces. I make quilts, but even when sewing patchwork, I still always have scraps. They just get smaller and smaller. Right now I have an embarrassing amount of them in my sewing room. Your little books seem like a promising way to use some up! I will try one! I enjoyed this video very much, and look forward to more zero-waste stitching fun! Cheers! Lynn in Hallsville, Missouri USA

Hi Lynn yes exactly sounds like you may need a bigger book lol 😁 I am so happy you enjoyed the idea. No thinking, definitely no rules of course or that annoying it has to BE something ! just grab scraps and start putting them down..enjoying the process, using bits and pieces and simply having fun with them 💖

After a long day I started smiling as soon as I saw you uploaded another video & smiled all the way through 😁 & I ALWAYS say "wonky" around here too. You're familiar with the old saying "Wilful waste makes woeful want" so its nice to see you using your scraps instead of chunking them out 😊God love you Ms Carol 👋🏻❤️xo Ive never stitched anything in my life but you gave me the courage to at least try & my embroidery thread just came in a couple days ago & now I have to get my material together to give a go 🫣🤞🏻

Carol I loooove your videos. I was thinking that you could couch that large fiber piece that was giving you such a time. You don’t even need to pull it through the fabric. Just lay it down and couch it. It would be even more dimensional couched. Also, I wonder if you would like the little transfers that are out now. You cut them out and use a coin to transfer the image. Sarah Homfray did a little book and included them. I bought some on Amazon. Just another fun little tool to use.

Hi thank you so much yes I should have couched it down 🤣 or made the tail shorter lol. transfers sound interesting, I haven’t seen that video I have some old ones I could give them a go, I appreciate the fun tip 💖
