@@JerryAsbury1985 The limestone from the prison WAS put in to make the basement of the McPike mansion cause the prison was torn down in 1865 except what is still standing and the McPike mansion was built in 1869 so yes, they used that rock and made partition walls all around Alton with this same limestone also used in the building of a lot of houses in Alton. I think the ghost buster truck is a little over the top! It’s people like that that give legitimate paranormal investigators a bad rap, and intern, about public image, an image of a fraudster with their bag of tricks trying to rip people off by making them think their house is haunted, but nothing could be further from the truth. I did not choose to have these abilities, I didn’t choose to become an investigator, it chose me, and frankly, if it had never chosen me I would’ve never sought after it, because I’ve experienced things that I definitely did not want to, I’ve seen and heard things that would make anyone’s blood run cold, and have seen enough things to give me nightmares until the day I die. When I was a small boy, I didn’t understand what was happening to me, because I could hear, see, and speak, to people that no one else could see. When I was small my parents just assumed I had an imaginary friend like many children do, but as I got older and continue to do so, they begin to get worried and took me to a psychiatrist. What exactly am I referring to you ask? Well remember the movie the sixth sense? I was that little boy, I would wake up in the middle of the night to see either a dark shadow with red glowing eyes or an actual solid person, often with horrible deformities from accidents that led to their demise, standing right beside my bed! I used to wake up screaming in utter terror....Thank God, literally, that the psychiatrist my parents took me to see was very open minded, and very well-versed in the world of the paranormal. I will never forget the look on my parents faces, because they expected the psychiatrist diagnosed me with a mental illness, give me some pills, and that would be the end of it, but instead they’ve got the psychiatrist sitting them down and telling them that their son, i.e. - me, was born with abilities that we all have, turned up to full volume, where is the average person is totally unaware that they have these abilities. He told my parents that I was a natural born psychic/medium, and empath, plus several other abilities as in remote sensing, we are by I can either touch an object, or look at a picture, and I am instantly transported to where ever the picture or item came from and who was attached to it, and why. My father began to yell at the psychiatrist threatening to sue him, but deep down my mother always believed and managed to calm my father down, And finally got him to except the truth. After that my life was a lot easier. I was around 10 years old at that time, and in those 10 years I saw and heard things that it’s Garrett the crap out of most adults, let alone a small boy, but I got used to it. After I met with the psychiatrist he put me in touch with several other people who helped develop and understand my abilities and skills, so by the time I entered my teens, I was already an accomplished paranormal investigator and eliminator. I have learned long ago not to care what other people think, I have to live my life the way I see fit, no one else is going to do it for me, and I cannot allow other peoples opinions to alter my future, so I go on, helping when I can, excepting and learning to use, The multiple abilities that I was born with. Thankfully I have managed to stay out of the spotlight, and away from the media, because both of which always greatly exaggerate the truth, and I was already having a difficult time adjusting to life with all these extra people but no one else could see except me. I lost count years ago as to how many people I’ve helped crossover, but it is also incredibly rewarding knowing that you’re able to help people move on with their life, to the next life that is. There is only one thing I will not do, and that is, to investigate anything it may even remotely be demonic, eggs it frightens the hell out of me, pardon the pun. I do have the knowledge and the tools to fight against it, but I have seen it go horribly wrong, to the point where it has absolutely destroyed countless peoples lives who thought they could handle it. I simply will not take that chance, people have absolutely no idea just how powerful the world of the paranormal truly is, and what exactly it is capable of doing. I’ve literally seen investigators lose their mind, and end up in psychiatric hospitals after countless attacks by demonic entities. Let’s not forget that these entities were never human, they never walk to the earth in human form, they are creatures of pure malevolence from hell it’s self, whose only goal, is to create misery, chaos, and disaster everywhere they go. They don’t hesitate to let you know that they’re there, I’ve seen demonic possession, I’ve seen exorcisms, neither of which I want anything to do with, simply because it just scares me to death. Yes, even professional investigators can get scared. Luckily, cases involving demonic possession’s are extremely rare and represent not even 1% of all the cases I’ve seen, over 99% of the time it’s merely a lost spirit desperate for help, reaching out to the people around them to get that help, not even realizing that they are scaring the crap out of those people. Put simply, all the ghost really is, is a person without a body, I’m not afraid of people, so I have no reason to be afraid of ghosts, if they were nice in life than they’re nice and deaf, if they were assholes in life then they are probably going to be assholes in death, but being an asshole does not mean being demonic. I thought with some pretty nasty spirits, but every single one of them want but one thing, help from the living, so they can find their way to the next life. Some are quite resistant and don’t want to leave as they don’t realize they’re dead, and can be very territorial, especially if it’s been a home they’ve lived in their whole life. It does take quite a bit of convincing sometimes, but luckily I’m able to hear everything they say, and I can have a fluent conversation with them as if I was talking to a living person, and after I get them calm down, I get them to except the fact that they are indeed dead, and that another life is waiting for them on the other side. It normally takes a few days to complete an investigation, and get rid of the spirit from the home or area it has been occupying, and then get them to move onto the next life where they belong. I have dealt with some pretty evil entities, but not demonic, just evil, and all those ones can be quite frightening to, I still do everything in my power to help them to the best of my ability. I’m proud to say that I’ve never had a case that I wasn’t able to solve, well, let’s rephrase, I have never accept a case that I couldn’t resolve, because I won’t accept a case if it is demonic in nature.

This seemed interesting to an extent until you had your kid "shake hands and talk with Cassandra".. You should be ashamed for producing such garbage. Giving Alton a bad name

There's only been one account of a shark caught in illinois, of course a bull shark, caught in the 30's or 40's in central illinois. There may be more.

wait a minute....the MOST haunted town in the usa is Atchinson, KS and MOST haunted city in the usa and the world is New Orleans, in my home state...so this town doesn't come near to these places
@JerryAsbury19855 жыл бұрын
They say that shit about every house or manison ect. If the place has a or several demons, they'll claim it to be one of the most haunted places in the country or world. I'm from Alton, & yes it's extremely haunted, although I haven't really had any experiences. But yes very haunted, but the most haunted city in the country, um that might be stretching a little. We've had a gruesome history here, an old civil war prison that was built with limestone rock, we got underground tunnels, we got like 5 cemeteries which one don't have any grave stones, but it's got a monument on a mound they say they stock piled the prisoners. We also have had a bunch of violent projects a.k.a. the ghetto. Around 2000ish a cab driver was ambushed & shot in the head twice over like 40 something cents. His mistake was turning around in a dead end, that the dispatcher told him not to do. I used to drive for the same company, the dispatcher is your lifeline in a way. What they tell us to do or not to do, we listen cause it might save our life, if we don't listen we can get sent home. So yeah very haunted.

@@JerryAsbury1985 but man, come to New Orleans though, if you haven't been. I'm telling you, it's very haunted! Alton, I've heard many stories, and it is one of the most haunted in the nation with shepherdstown, WV.
@JerryAsbury19855 жыл бұрын
@@lsubandtrumpet2014 Lol I'm not doubting it a bit, I've never been there but I know they've got a nasty gruesome history too. I know about the La Lorie mansion I think that's the name, Nicholas Cage purchased the place if that tells you anything lol. He don't own it now, but yeah I'm sure slavery was bad down there. I got a question you might have an answer to, have you heard of a movie called the St. francisville experiment? It's like a home movie, 4 college student film makers go into a mansion that's haunted, & they didn't last all night like they were supposed to. I'm just wondering what Mansion it was, I've always wondered.

@@JerryAsbury1985 I've been to the myrtles plantation in st. Francisville, LA about 28 miles north of our second largest city and capital city of Baton Rouge. It is something I can say that! The most haunted bed and breakfast and plantation in the world!
