Im going to tell you a story, a story of a man in Boston Massachusetts named Jeremy and a woman named Kim. This story happened 2 days ago in fact. They had a ritual, they would say “goodnight” and then watch videos quietly. Hell yeah, the shark fruit snacks were amazing. Also, I don't know if I'm imagining things, but I swear my mom would pack these delicious Soda Bottle fruit snacks in my lunch back in the first and second grades. There were a few different flavors, but I definitely seem to remember the orange soda, root beer, and cola flavors, and I think there may have been a cherry cola as well. Either that or I've completely fabricated a memory that seems all too real in my mind, but I'm not too sure how I'd do that. This would have been in the 1991-1994 or 1995 range, back in my early elementary school days. And I DEFINITELY remember Dunkaroos, because my mom never packed them and I'd be jealous of my friends who had them in their lunches. My typical lunch was a PBJ, Chex Mix, Fruit Snacks or a Chocolate Swirl Hostess Cupcake, and last but not least, a Hi-C Ecto Cooler, I shit you not. Until I got to junior high and they let you drink soda at lunch, then I'd always have a Wild Cherry Pepsi or a Dr. Pepper. But pretty much up until high school I'd have a PBJ, Chex mix, fruit snacks/a cup cake, and an Ecto Cooler/Soda for lunch. And somehow I never became obese. Probably because kids, including myself, actually played outside back then and pedaled bikes and played tag at recess (before that became illegal) and rode skateboards and pretty much anything else to get us out of the house and away from our parents. We saved the Super Nintendo and later N64 and Playstation for late nights and rainy days.
