I’m looking at this boat. Are you happy with motor size? Will it pull a tube for the kids ?

Probably not pull a tub. In the first clip of us moving, we had a head wind of about 10mph and a lot of chop on the water. We could barley get up to 14mph, but if I go by myself on glass clam water, it can do about 22-24mph. I plan on doing an in depth video on the performance of the Lund 1650 Angler with a 25hp Mercury and a SS prop. I plan to include info. with and without excess weight. When I was looking at getting this boat, there where no videos of a boat this size that was equipped with a smaller motor.

Thanks I will watch for more videos on this. I’m very interested in this boat for fishing. But feel the family would want to have fun also. I figure the kids would like tubing.
