Finally the video is out! In about 5h I should be livestreaming on my second livestreams channel if anyone is interested 😉 kzbin.info/door/t_t_rdO0aOhiqpMGTC6fjw I wonder if anyone else having massive fps drops since Apex Predator update? For me that happens only in naval battles(Naval RB or EC). Mostly when someone using smoke, or I think when there's a lot of aa going off at the same time.

you can get msi afterburner, and see what your computer actually doing. war thunder likes to eat gpu vram. i dont know what resolution you are at (i assume 4k), but at 4k war thunder can use 24gb, especially in a big map like in naval. for comparism, in 1080p medium settings, the game uses around 9-10gb vram in ground ab...........

I really want to love naval rb but the maps are just too small for blue-water fleets. You're being targeted as soon as you spawn and the ridiculously small spawn points means no room for maneuver without running in to friendlies and becoming an even easier target to hit.

Gotta hand it to you Dollar, I typically don't even think about watching WT naval content but you manage to make even it interesting to me. Great editing and pacing as well as a nice relaxing personality can make just about anything interesting to watch

@@DOLLARplays You certainly do that, every time I see one of your WT naval videos I seriously consider giving it another go. They've also made me think on it some and helped me realize that naval could be really fun for me, the only thing that's really keeping me from enjoying it is the grind but, being hyper focused on progression is a whole other issue lol. Anyways point being, you make some great stuff and in my opinion, definitely achieve your goal of showing that it can be fun and interesting. I hope you keep up the effort and can't wait for the next one :)

@@vonknorring09 Aim for the waterline and you have to develop a sense of ranging, adding or dropping range depending on if you are separating or closing. Takes practice and.... lots of dying. This is still WT after all.

I see you were so entranced in the battle that you didn't notice your teammate at 18:58 asking if u need smoke xD Still, he was such a good teammate actually, being able to read the situation well and giving u some cover when u needed it, wish I saw more of those. Also, I kinda like how Gaijin somehow pushes even high-end rigs to the limit with their simulator naval gameplay, it shows how big the gamemode truly is and I kinda wish the same was done for tanks aswell. It's also pretty nostalgic for those times when many of us had rigs that couldn't run games at a stable FPS.

I like my Fuso but I still wait for Gaijin to put Tone in her Aviation Cruiser configuration with 5 to 8 planes. Or Ise / Hyuga in their Hybride battleship/ carrier configuration. They could be very interesting in Naval EC.

I love the IJN Kako. It's the only Heavy cruiser in game that you can spawn at the start of EC. The enemy always start panicking when they see a heavy cruiser and they only have spawned DD's and light cruisers

​@@filonin2 No, I had a desktop PC, but the graphics card was old, so I saved money and bought a new graphics card. And now it's like a new one. The problem I had was that my pc was meant to be used with a GTX 1060 or better but I didn't have enough money so I put my old graphics card on it until I could get a new one, and now I have a GTX 1060 which makes my pc run almost everything. My English is a bit bad, but I hope you understand xD

yes its a problem only naval is affected off a lot of people if not everyone has it i hope they fix it asap. you can actually try to shake it of when you change into your seaplane of the ship the framerate goes back to normal then always so its some kind of bug that accures under certain conditions i guess
