Now that you mentioned the zombies a lot of the naval oddities makes more sense now, I've seen ships that just sail straight past other enemy ships without even flinching on their way towards our spawn. Or ships that sail the complete wrong way and just keep going until they run aground near our airfield or something. I've always wondered about those people, first I suspected a bad case of afk, but yeah zombie farming makes more sense.

Another fun thing about zombies, AI controlled guns can often shoot through certain types of terrain, meaning that you can't even fight back a portion of the time when playing close to shore. On the other hand, their aim usually isn't the best, so free kills :)

You are actually the first WT youtuber to speak about this problem of zombies in Naval (Well I don't know a lot of other WT youtuber I watch tbh), I've played Naval for quite a while and for me those zombies always existed, I still like to imagine what would be a game with just full players on naval instead of bots. It would completely change the way it's played. I feel it would be very complicated to resolve that problem because Naval is based on "Micro-managing" and a huge situational awareness compared to the two other gamemodes, hence why you can delegate actions to the AI to lift a bit of a burden off your shoulders. But putting away those mechanics would make it harder for other players (maybe I don't really know...) I just hope for the day Naval would be rid of those zombies so it can be played the way it was meant to be.

​@@DOLLARplays One solution could be restructuring many maps especially open ones. The reason why these bots are so succesful is that majority of naval maps allow spawn-to-spawn shooting so botters can just sit and shoot right from the start and this is how they get consistent rewards. There's a reason if bots in ground battles are so rare because most of them gets stuck in to an house or something similar near the spawn because maps in ground are much more complex than in the other modes. If this could be replicate in naval maybe majority of bots would simply beach on an island near the spawn and this would drastically reduce their reward, thus less and less people would use them to farm.

As a professional boat rancher, thank you for describing my daily naval grind with your intro. I have no idea how many of these things I've killed, but if you want maximum efficiency, you gotta use something with a high fire rate like Brooklyn. During events when botting is at its highest, you can legit be the only human on either team.

They are present in gf and air as well, the ones in air are just going from map border to map border until they are positioned over a base and then drop theirs bombs, they also have auto flaring when any missiles is spotted, those zombies mostly play A5Cs and AV8As.

Sometimes, when I’m tired in Naval, I like to go zombie mode to watch the cinematics and feel like a battleship with all my turrets firing at multiple targets. Of course, I still turn and stuff, but it’s fun to watch your ship tank and return fire.

G'day dollar. Well you finally covered it and unfortunately they've been in game for a whole year. Technically there's three types of botters from extension observation: • 3.3/3.7 Kerch/ Luchs bots that spawn and either move in a line or lay anchor apon spawning. • Bots that keep moving and will avoid landmass. • Botter that move in a straight line and often run aground. All bots are not limited to premium ships having seen many as TT vessels including the 7.0 vessels. One counter is reporting yet it's tedious another is forcing them aground and optional no quarter option is to TK them with an aircraft. (already operate on a heavy sl lose with some ships so a little extra less sl ain't a problem (repair/ammunition costs are a bitch for a few ships)). While heavy cannons might be an option I've found using rockets against these poxy chinese bots are a glorious sight watching them explode from a rocket salvo heh (majority of bots are Chinese that's a fact especially since that picture with chinese currency appeared of the price for botting). Also AA wise the Courageous class Large Light Cruiser might seem meh you should change to the secondary battery to have a 12× gun flak wall which surprisingly works well up to like 40° elevation, Hopefully we see her sister.

It's pretty bad lately in AIR RB as well. Harriers, A-5C you name it. They have BOT scripts setup to bomb a base and then climb to space for the rest of the game. When you get 3+ bots on your team it's GG. I report like 10 bots every 5 games and it started somewhere around the F-16 teaser.
