Having real time instruction is so helpful. Some artists leave out video of how adjustments are made. The explanation as you paint of what you’re doing-a little more….-helps us see the process of painting. Not always just one stroke and never go back. It’s encouraging to know watercolor can be adjusted. Fun to watch it gradually come together.

You are right. I stopped trying to learn from KZbin artists because of not seeing the whole process, I’d work my painting to the point of overworking it by trying to find how to make it look right. But Mr Chen is so very helpful and patient. Thank you Mr Chen! 😊

Thank you for such detailed instruction. I can see I need more practice on water control. My dark background had brush strokes in it when photographed. ((My family likes to see what I'm up to😅) any pictures from tutorials I refuse to sign.))❤

HI Yong, i like, what you do. It would be nice, you would tell us, WHY you do something like you do, not only what you. For example, why do you paint the third lemon before the middle one. Is it because you don’t want, that the colours mingle from the first end second lemon? Such explanations would be very helpful. What you do, we see, but it is interesting WHY you do this, to learn for our own pictures, we paint without your guidance.

Love these tutorials and they are helping me a lot. I just have a question what's the last color in your pallete ( the dark one) or you worked with two different blues?
@LaurieSequana6 ай бұрын
He uses Winsor Newton green shade blue or Prussian blue. The other blue is a W N red shade blue, or French ultra marine
