Nice tour. Amazing that the Horseshoe Bend is charging. That surprised us! We went there with our car club and weren't charged. BEFORE COVID. So pleased you both are enjoying the journey, 😉. Wahweap has an Indian RV PARK, absolutely lovely! All types of RV Sites and we've slept there in our floating RV, Our Boat, LOL. Too windy to be on the lake when it was full. Now it way LOW! BUMMER, SO SAD.

Loved the video, We just left lees ferry Campground about 3 days ago and had the site just a couple down from yours when we were there.. We also had a chance to kayak around Horseshoe Bend while we were there as you guys talked about in the video. We used kayak the Colorado and they took us up via speed boat from lees ferry to about a mile north of the Horseshoe Bend and you paddle back to your car from there.

Thank you, I really enjoyed your video, the West is so beautiful with its natural beauty. So many National Parks and Geographic places to see. I hope you get up to Utah's Natiional Parks, I have been to Canyonlands and Arches National Parks, and there is an area that has historic Petroglyphs. Some over in Moab had some distasteful graffitti on them, which is sad that people will destroy the National Beauty of a place.

I have a notebook in my evernote ..on my phone...titled bathrooms...its amazing how some places just overlook them. My favorite peeves are too narrow stalls, where you open the door and it almost scrapes the toilet...and paper dispensers down next to the top of the toilet and you have to bend over to get and of course these ones are also right along side so you scrape your knuckles, not a fun experience. Granted bathrooms aren't made to be an experience, but I as well as others take drugs that require I drink a lot of water, as when I was younger and pregnant, bathrooms are important...thank you for mentioning that, most people don't.

Cheri, hate to be a concerned grandma type, but proper shoes (not flip-flops) are very important. 4 years ago a very experienced hiker and climber was killed on Going To The Sun Road in Glacier Nat'l Park when he and the folks he was traveling with pulled into a pullout to get out and take a closer look at one of the small waterfalls that are visible from the road and traverse under the road via a large culvert drain. The man was also a very skilled photographer, so he took his camera with him. He was perched on a rock outcrop above the falls, taking photos, when he momentarily lost his footing just a teensy little bit and because he was wearing flip-flops rather than proper shoes, the sandal turned under his foot and he fell about 10 feet into the stream below. He wasn't seriously hurt by the fall and his friends were there with him to both witness his fall, the cause of his fall, and try to help him out of the stream before it swept him away. However, they couldn't get to him in time to pull him out and he was swept away by the force of the stream, thru the culvert and over the 100' fall on the other side of the road, which killed him. His body continued downstream for about 1/2 mile before getting caught in rocks and required a helicopter crew to extract. Had he been wearing proper footwear, he'd have been able to recover his momentary loss of balance...

Cheri, flip flops are not good in the desert. Your in snake country. Three bad boys live there. Western Diamond back, Mohave Green both types are rattlers and the Side winder. Doesn't encloud the scrorpian. Any four can make you have a bad day. Safety first, and then fun.

One of my favorite places on Earth, Lake Powell. It's best to visit end of July, less wind, warm lake water, less storm risk. Try out the Dam Bar and Grill in Page, good food there too. Don't miss taking the Corkscrew Canyon tour (Antelope Canyon). I think that runs about $50/person, but it's a bucketlist place to visit. We visited Horseshoe Bend last year. kzbin.info/www/bejne/a5ndZIqwiLeWhMk

I would stay far away from Nomad Internet if I were you. Customer service is horrible and not worth the price. You have to by your own modem and when you cancel, they say it’s their property and you have to return it before they will stop service. And the kicker, no refund on the modem you paid full price for. And, you cannot even get to your credit card information on their site to stop them from continuously charging you. Don’t believe me, try it.
