Enlightenment And Death Are Not Separate Things

Enlightenment is like jumping out of an airplane without a parachute. So the bad news is that you don't have parachute, but the good news is that you discover there is no ground. And then you're just endlessly falling and you never reach the ground. So in a sense, what i'm asking you to do is to jump. And you don't want to jump. You're saying, I'm scared. I'm too scared to jump. And I'm saying, jump. God is telling you, jump, jump into infinite love and it's going to be great. But you're like, what if I kill myself and what if something else happens? I don't know. You just jump into infinite love. Take the leap of faith and you'll discover infinite love. And you're too scared to do it. But then eventually when you do it, then you're just going to discover that there's no ground. You're endlessly falling forever and it's great. But yeah, taking that leap is really difficult. It requires you to face your death. So of course, everybody is too afraid to do it. People are just to scared.

Thank you for starting this channel and sharing your "knowledge" and "experiences". It's very helpful for us not-seekers. So what happens to you after your body-mind dies? Do you think reincarnation is a real thing? I hope these seem like reasonable questions.

@@paulmorgan-somers Of course! Now I completely understand! 😁 I guess this only make sense when it's 'experienced'. I've had a really difficult life. I have sever depression that hasn't responded to any treatment, and I've tried all of them over the last 15 years. I can't help but wonder, is it over when I die. Will I get another chance in another life to realize what you have. I'm doing everything I can now to awaken. I've been meditating several hours a day for 6 years. I scrutinize my beliefs and values, try to be as ethical as possible. I'm committed to truth, which means every belief I hold is tentative, always subject to revision or rejection. Honestly, awakening is the orienting principle effecting everything I do. I take a lot of medication though, and I'm not really sure if my mental situation is even compatible with awakening. I know this isn't about the mind, but can the mind become an obstacle? I'd be grateful for any thoughts that arise as 'you' read this.

The death of the sense of self would be more accurately described as seeing it for what it actually is. Which is an impermanent fictitious moment to moment illusion. But this experience because of our conditioning and constant exposure to it being an actual object feels very much like a death. That's the easy bit, the hard bit is learning to function thereafter in a world entirely invested in proping up this nonsense.

Hang on, the so called teacher has experienced someone else's experience of enlightenment, wow, the so called teacher must have a lot of wisdom to how to do that. I mean, to experience means to gain wisdom. And that wisdom is quote: " it cant be answered". This all sounds like mumbo jumbo to bamboozle the unsuspected. Basically whats being asked and said has nothing to do with nothing. All this so called teacher is doing is twisting the meanings of words in the dictionary to fit his beliefs conjured up over time that finally became real to him. It's like people watching Harry Potter and convincing themselves it's all real or at least possible. Everything has manifested from the elements of the Universe in and from whatever that Universe form was, is and going to be. Therefore that random process is enlightenment and death of itself randomly and random means done without conscious decision. You your lineage inception was initially FORMED from the elements of the Universe not BORN (biology) however both are in a symbiotic relationship. Your Formed source presence within will enlighten your physical brain of that fact and the death of your BORN biology is a fact. Two separate things. Hello!
