Enlightenment and the Ten Zen Ox Herding Pictures ~ Shinzen Young

Shinzen shares that the ten zen ox-herding pictures can be interpreted as showing the stages on the path of enlightenment and as the process of truly grasping what consciousness is. He shares that the last three pictures - 8, 9, and 10 - tell us the substance, appearance, and ultimate use of enlightenment. This is a new edit of what used to be a 3-part video.

Hi Johannes, nothing so esoteric. Shinzen had one arm behind the drawing pad, so bowed using the other. He usually uses two hands : )
