Downloading Enlisted was the best thing I did this year. I was a bit skeptical at first, with bots around and such, but damn it is so much fun. The pace is incredible. The maps are large and packed with soldiers and vehicles, and they feel like a real battle. It's so unlike other shooters, and so much better. This is the game I wanted to play as a child. And I'm glad it is real and available right now.

thats what im saying i always wanted a game where i could have a team and could switch to whichever one when i wanted, each specialize different. its always what i wanted and the fact its ww2 makes it 10x better. it was like a desire for this game for me that i didnt know how to explain bc there was nothing else like this game. every time i thought i found something like it, it wasnt what i thought it was, the ad lied about the game or something. but this is a masterpiece

Tip no.1: Sniping bots from a window at the edge of the map doesn't win games => makes your grind slower. Building rally points and playing on the objective wins games.

The point of a sniper is to set up somewhere outside the objective. It’s a distance weapon and if you get good enough with it you can take out entire squads going for the objective.

If you are going to be a sniper, then you need to have an engineer and a radio man on your team. You need to be dropping artillery, marking enemies Dropping rallies and communicating with your team. Other than that you are just another useless bot. Nothing worse than losing a match. Because you couldn't take the pointonly to find out that you have 3 snipers. Two hundred yards from the point doing fuck all.....

as a player who can consistently get top of the score board ill leave some of my own tips to keep in mind while playing 1- Play engineer, a team of effective engineers will generally win games compared to those that don't, building rallies, ammo boxes and fortifications will also give you a lot of XP making your grind easier 2- as the community constantly suggest be that player that builds rally's, rally's speed up your deployment time and help you and your team attack/defend the objective and will give you a lot of XP so it is worth doing so 3- Learn the map flow, this will come with experience but knowing where enemies usually come from will give you a big advantage to those who don't especially when using vehicles, static weapons, mines, and radio artillery 4- LEVEL UP YOUR SQUADS!! games can be thrown by teams just not using effective squads such as using 5/9 rifle squad with bolt actions in a tier 5 game or running tier 5 infantry equipment but bringing a tier 1 tank, once you have a squad max leveled change it to a new squad, doing this early will help you in the late game 5- Press V (default key bind) to mark targets especially tanks as this will allow your air and tank players to eliminate these threats 6- mortars are highly underutilized, these can squad wipe enemies, lay smoke, and even 1 shot tanks 7- don't fly planes until you learn the map flow, nothing is more useless than a pilot shooting grass looking forward to see you all in the battlefield o7 user name- howieroark

Explosive packs got a serious nerf to anti personnel while still being effective v vehicles but be advised some tanks can tank up to three packs.

Hey Quadro! I started a about a month before the merge; had a lot of the battlepass done, and ended up getting the 2500+300 gold, bought the battlepass + 90 days of premium; with the boost [ along with all the lovely info from you and Maj. MacD B) ] am FLYING through tier 1 for all the factions, hoping to have t3 knocked out with every nation before my prem expires (and was hoping to get germany to V but 'join any team' usually throws me on USSR/Japan, as expected) and know I wouldnt stand a chance w/o your help! Might need to join the discord to finally start running with other good commanders ;p

Before the merge I grinded all factions to the first MG squad and got my allies and axis in Normandy to lvl 20+ since the merge ive had so much silver and alot of weapons unlocked giving me alot of freedom i overall enjoy the change.

Just got into the game i got suckered into buying a german apc and a tank. Dont regret though, love the game and instantly became one of the most usefull ppl on my team. I had no idea apc's were mobile spawn points till i started using it lol. Wish i had some ppl to play with rip

As someone who doesn’t have a lot of time to play I miss farming Bots😂 but tbh the game is better with this set up imo. Campaigns were cool but progressing 12 different trees was depressing. ESPECIALLY WHEN USING THE “SAME” MILITARY. I’m a fan of the merge and hope they quickly but smartly push updates and balancing

Bro ive had to rewatch sections of this video numerous times but I may slowly be getting the hang of things. I can definitely see the obvious potential to have quite a bit of fun in this game. One thing that was confusing for me who should’ve payed attention more tbh is that the upgrades where not squad specific but applied permanently to all squads. For example if it upgrade rifleman max level it’s not just for the squad but for any rifleman in any squad. So if I wanted to upgrade a certain weapon I might have to play a certain squad in order to get upgrades even though I will use the weapon in a different squad.

I just recently switched to pc gaming, I used to play enlisted on my ps4 and I had a bunch of modes I could choose from (different campaigns, game modes, custom game, etc) but now on pc I don’t see any of that. Was there an update that took that away or am I missing something?

Is Moscow maps tier I, II and III? Moscow was my favorite campaing for a long time, and i max it as Axis. So, i have a powerfull gear for my soldiers, i wonder that if i wanna play Moscow axis i will must lowergear any thing to tier III I guess. I dont't like it. But in the other hand, i will be able to bring some soviet squads from Berlin and Stalingrad to fight in Moscow maps. Should be fun.

Almost ever single match i get is pacific (i play as americans) and i dont know why, ive done atleast 8 matches and 7/8 of them were pacific. Is it just the game, or is it weapons/units that force me into pacific matches

I will say the best Faction to play as a beginner is still the Americans/allies. Germanys equipment is probably better but there’s sooo many bolt actions to grind early on. I haven’t gotten to the VG1 yet but the 1917 enfield and m1 carbine are a nasty combo to load a squad out in tier 2

Hey Quadro, love the content. But I have a vast request; I'd like to know if you could make a tips guide for players trying to excel in the current money system. Many people, such as Paradivison, have been pessimistic about the merge. A lot of this has to do with the ridiculous amounts of XP you need to get items that you want to play (accounting for the schizophrenic nature of the AI); look at the typical player; they are trying to play the game for the Garand, or the Sturmgewehr and these are locked away from the newer players, as they need millions of experience to unlock adequate equipment. With the costly prices of the once-free vehicles, soldier prices, and weapon prices, many don't have the luxury of playing awesome nations like Japan because some other country has better overall gear. Giving the player base essential strategies to gain maximum experience like the use of AP mines on rally points (😏), killing your own tankers and levelling up a whole infantry squad just by using your empty tank, barbed wires around enemy rally points, using Heavy Machineguns to penetrate light tanks in BR 2 and so on. Even though the merge solved the overall time spent getting items, the average player would usually want cool, fun stuff earlier, and getting all of the low-tier things first discourages players from playing the game for the long-term. With the knowledge spread to the community, games would become more competitive and fun. More people would get experience faster, instead of what you would typically see in the past, where either one or two people get most of the xp in the whole 30-minute match, and everybody else would have no chance to get experience. This situation brings more suffering to the world that is enlisted. I think many community members have many innovative techniques that can be shared, ESPECIALLY THE SWEATY CHINESE PLAYERS and people like Paradivision because the dude's a mastermind sometimes. I hope you can see my point in my suggestion and I hope for the best in the future of this game

I do hate the hard monetization. Everything feels twice as expensive as it should be and they punish you for being free to play by making it grueling to unlock even a single weapon. I can score 10k research in one game as premium and I have to play 10-20 games (six hours or so) to unlock a single weapon. This is if you take my best averages and consider that I get double research for having premium. This means that someone just starting out free to play is going to take 12-24 hours if they are an intermediate player. More if they are worse, it just makes it feel extremely unrewarding to grind research as sometimes you grind 6 hours just for something you dont want just so you can get something down the line.

hm. Shouldve covered that. Sorry! Upgrading weapons requires you to go through the squad menu (similar to adding more soldiers to your squad). Once you have those upgrades, you spend silver per gun. It is worth the hassle, but only for certain guns, and only once youve got a loadout already. Two basic guns is much better than one fully upgraded gun!

every player has a squad of AI that follow their commands but act automatically. In practice, the AI are extra lives for players to use. Using your AI and keeping them safe is a big part of the skill of Enlisted

@everyone new to the game, make sure you get the BACKPACK Slot, if you chose something else, then it will cost you Enlisted GOLD, and the price is quite HIGH. I messed up, now wish I had gone with Backpack Slot, but I was new to the game, and didn't start watching Quadro youtube videos. So get those BACKPACK Slots, or you will wish you did, Like I do now :0)

I don't know, I'd say it's not worth getting into as new player. I've tried it for two weeks or so, and it's got the classic Gaijin grind. Brutal. I'd rather pay full price once than be nickeled and dimed for years to get premium. Picked Germany, and do well enough, usually top 5... but I don't know what's going on with the match maker. It seems I'm facing people with BR's all over the place. I've got bolt actions, which admittedly are satisfying and work well enough. But, I'm usually facing down full PPS squads. Picked one up and wow, must be nice is all I can say. Even my team is all over the place. A guy on my team spawned a Panzer IV, a late model one by the looks of it with the side skirts and whatnot. I'm not even tier 2 in research yet. Perhaps it gets better, but ultimately I'll probably drop it. Playing engineer and seeing players spawn on rallies to flank enemy objectives was pretty cool though. Good premise, but the execution seems mediocre. That UI is a nightmare.

@@MonkeyBanjo7 Just another heads up, if you are going to play, pick Russia or USA as your faction. I tried sticking it out, but every game I play as Germany now is unbalanced/stacked teams. Germany usually has low rank players, and Russia/ US generally have teams with at least 4 out of 10 high rank players. The core gameplay is good, I will say that, but the team balance and very slow progression has me ready to uninstall.

I feel bad for beginners post merge The grind just feels longer imo I played for a year and maxed Berlin axis and pacific axis then my 3rd and 4th highest was Berlin Allies and pacific Allie’s So I have to go back and unlock old stuff I never used to get the good new stuff

no it's not. I already maxed out all the new stuff added in the update in a few days, casually playing and completing battlepass and events tasks, and without premium. I'm getting tons of exp flexing out my Tiger II's and StG44s, and you can get more medals now (for building engineer structures, etc.), so you're more likely to get a biger % of exp boosters in your average match.

Right now you can only get the 100 mag Thomson parachutes for real money. Airborne squads are usually event rewards, we don't have them in the tech tree yet.
