Enlisted - Every Normandy Tank ranked from Worst to Best (Updated)

The Panzer 3 N is actually my favorite tank in Enlisted. I am an experienced tanker in the game and I became a major threat for all Allied tanks including the M4A3E2 Jumbo. The Stalingrad model has access to HEAT (High Explosive Anti-Tank) rounds that can penetrate the KV1 from all sides.

I wasn't taking the Stalingrad version into account when making this video, since this is based on Normandy (same with using stuff like the Pz4, Panther and Tiger from Berlin as comparisons)

I completely agree with this list. Tiger and Panther are powerful and now everyone know how to take out Jumbo.

I knew what the top 3 were going to be when I got both sides maxed (The M4A1 is good, but i think the Jumbo is better) What was hard was the order between the Jumbo and Panther.

@@jdosser yeah because Jumbos are easier to get and can take awhile to kill. I’d say that the Panther is a better Jumbo counter than even the tiger while the Tiger is best for everything else.

@@Longshot-nm2mx Ik for a fact that the Tiger is the perfect counter to a Jumbo because an average Jumbo player can't actually kill one. I had a match on Airfield against two greyzone camping Jumbos, main gun got blown out, but instead of just fleeing and having the Jumbos focus on the point, I stayed put, and the Jumbos didn't put a scratch on me, so much so that my team was able to finished off one of the Jumbos, while I got a repair done and then I finished the other one off by ramming him, blowing up his turret and then flanking round and ammo racking him

@@jdosser yeah I think the Tiger is overall the best tank in the game. In Berlin it’s also very good and I commonly get over 10 tank kills in a single Tiger run because it’s gun just obliterates anything it pens. Also it’s armor is great when angled and it has actual reverse speed to get out of difficult situations unlike panther.

Really wish I could use these efficiently, two reason. One I have awful controller drift to my tank always moves, and two the grind is insane

Yeah I've heard that vehicle controls for console aren't the best, also i feel that grind. Post level 20, the grind gets unbearable at times

Also the pz3n most common shell it used Was able to pen around 100mm of armour Meaning it should be able to take out the Jambo from the front if I'm correct But ofc they didn't put that shell into the game for obvious reasons (Edit) I think the shell is in wt

Thanks this really helped me understand the problem I was having fighting other allied tanks and my panzer 3 I was getting really frustrated when I had perfect angling and shot placement on their straight side or frontal hull and it ricochets (sometimes even with a green indicator proving it will pen)

Yeah the Pz3 isn't the greatest for fighting tanks. I'd argue that it's the worst for fighting tanks for the Axis (yes, even more than the Puma). The Pz3s strength is with it being a support vehicle. Its good against infantry, but not as good against tanks

@@jdosser Yeah you’re right I just need to grind out until I get the Panzer IV haha i’m kind of new to the game and I love tanks specifically German tanks IRL and in game and this really helped

Panzer 3 N is actualy a very good infantry support tank. Just wished we could change the ammo types quantity.

It's good, but the Pz4s, Panther and Tiger are more effective at infantry support, and can take out tanks as well

The problem is it doesn't matter how good the panther or tiger is when they get blown up seconds out of spawn by Hvar and M8 rockets. I don't even have them yet, but I can't imagine its any different from my panzer 3 that gets blown up seconds out of spawn, or gets explosive-packed if I try to play the objectives. I still have more to learn about tanking, but the allied air power is just nuts in this campaign, and I can't figure out how to play objectives without getting flanked and blown up by explosive packs every time.

Tanking is a skill that takes a very long time to master. It took me a while to get good with using tanks. The problem is that when I was learning to use tanks the game was a lot less forgiving.

Hide in between buildings or beside bunkers or in the woods in the grey zone and then they struggle to hit you if they can see you, they do it with jumbos and 76s so I dont see why using their tactics against them is a bad thing

I kindda disagree with the wolverine being the worst. Never had any enemy mount my tank. It takes a while to get used to the tank but the commander lmg is actually really good even when moving and as you said the turret is excellent

The problem is that every Allies tank in Normandy (At least base game) has the same commander LMG, but also has a hull mounted LMG (exception being the M8 Scott), also the M4A1 has the exact same turret, but no open top. Also the armour is paper thin. I said in the video that I love tapped it with a Jumbo and sent one to the moon (And the Jumbo's AP is a pile of dogshit)

@@jdosser first off, hull mg are not functional in game. Their existence is a bit useless. Second, the M4A1 doesn't have the same turret at all, not even gun if that's what you mean. M4A1 has the M1 76, and M10 has the M7. The protection is also completely different. M10 protection is kinda trolly turret but paper hull, while the M4A1 is reasonably consistent meh armor all over.

I am curious how the tanks like the churchhill and firefly would go in this list?

Churchill would be around the middle. Strong Armour, and tough to kill, but it's cannon lets it down. Firefly would be probably top 3 (around where the 76mm is)

I can tell you from experience. If you like having an American tank with a British 17 pounder gun that can frontally pen Panthers and Tigers, then the Firefly is the only Normandy Premium I would suggest. Its armor isnt as strong as the Jumbo, but that gun is deadly to everything the Axis bring out. Do NOT try to move on objectives with it though. The HE is pretty meh. Stick to 1919 and M2 MG fire from a distance. Now if you want the opposite, armor for days but a weak ass gun, go Churchill. If you angle correctly you'll be pissing off Axis tankers. Just dont expect to kill many tanks with that 57mm gun.

Yeah but Sherman has a hard time penning you if you anlge And they can only pen the turret but if you keep moving forward and backwards you will make it harder for em While the m8 still has a Stuart armour And that's not great cause still everything can take you out as easily as a Stuart

@@geokeo3263 The M8 however has a better gun, and better ammo than the Pz3. The M2 is nasty, and i've seen it destroy Panthers from range. It also has HEAT rounds, which decimate crews
