As someone who get this shit a lot just get some oral gel. Like I would suffer with a canker sore for over a week of pain and it would not heal. The moment I use oral gel it numb the pain and it start healing the next day. Was a life saver once I discovered it because when I had it as a kid mom just be like oh your internal heat too high. Make me drink like grass jelly drink and other shit to cool the internal heat which means suffer 2 weeks for it to heal on its own >.>

For anyone with canker sore issues, try taking b12 supplements (like 1 mg per pill levels of supplements), it took a while for them to kick in fully (around half a year) but the difference was like night and day, I went from having 1-1.5 cm in diameter canker sores that lasted for 2 weeks and hurt so much that I could hardly eat or talk to 0.5 cm canker sores that lasted for less than a week and hurt so little that I barely even care. Also gargle salt water (1 teaspon in ~2.5 dl of water), it helps healing.

Canker sores do suck. The expensive medicine patches though are worth it. Heals the sores way quicker and provides a cover to protect it from iritation until it disolves. The plastic patches help too but I prefer the medicinal ones that slowly disolve over time as they seem to treat the sore while providing a cover.

Has anyone recommended magic mouthwash to Enna? I had awful canker sores/ulcers for years and it was one of the only things that got me through. Maalox, Benadryl, and some lidocaine. Stick it in the fridge and swish with it. It coats your mouth and numbs the sores really well. It also tastes kinda nice ngl

I was wondering… usually water-based lube is edible, because reasons. I’ve heard that there is a kind of butt lube with numbing agent in it. Wouldn’t that help with canker sores?

1. Yes, anal lube has lidocaine in it which is a *_topical_* anesthetic. 2. *_DO NOT USE MEDICATION OUTSIDE OF INTENDED USE._* (Unless instructed to by a medical professional) 3. There is oral anesthetic meant specifically for this use that has benzocaine which is an *_oral_* anesthetic.
