Jup, you got it totally. Thanks for those pointers. Somehow, having a type 8 child is - well - challenging. 😅

Some kids take longer to develop their enneagram type which is totally normal. I seemed like a type 7 through and through until I was 11 and then I hit a huge turning point. Give them time and space to decide what type they draw to 😊

I don’t think children matter, as far as enneagram goes. I’m 31 today and took the test, I came out as an 8. I wasn’t this way as a child.

remember that Enneagram isn't dictated by behavior! Our programming/Enneagram is cultivated in the first 7 or so years of our lives. You definitely don't have to agree, each person has the freedom to choose whether they will look into their child's enneagram or not. By knowing your child's enneagram, one could pin point their core desire and fulfill it with ease. Once again, everyone has the choice not to!

this is helpful, I have an enneagram 8 two year old that throw me for a loop, I have 2 other boys and once my enneagram 8 boys personality started to show i had to unlearn everything I thought I knew about parenting.... so now I am researching about the 8 and learning to love it, but it is very, shall we say CHALLANGING!! He is everything you mentioned and more plus he is a third child so he really has to speak up if he didn't already have a loud voice and he is 2 years old coming up on 3 so those factors are intense too. pray for me lol
