It's been a while since I posted that video. I should do more camping. Thanks for commenting.

Thank you for posting. I'm thinking to head out there this weekend and wanted to see what it looked like. I would love it if I could find GPS coordinates so I can check it out via google maps.

I'm sure you'll have blast. This video was my 2nd solo camping trip ever. It turned out to be a segue way to solo hiking portions of the Appalachian trail. Got a vid some where here on that too, but it's horrible because of the lens I used. Here are the approximate coordinates for the campsite 36.0795061,-79.0051148

So you hike in?

I did. I parked at the parking lot and hiked about a mile to the campsite.

+Frank White I have a question: If one were to camp at this location, would that person have to, by rules, set the tent up on the cement pad, or could that person walk way out into the woods, away from everyone and set up camp?

You'd have to camp in the designated areas. One of the last bastions in America for camping pretty much where ever you want is our National Forests - not the National Parks - and even then there are rules you have to abide.
