I always stop on a good note. even if we just started and then move on to the next piece we need to work on. great tip

Me too! When drilling my App (many years ago) I’d stop the second time he got it right. I’d check to see if the first time wasn’t a “fluke”…if he repeated it the second time I’d stop and either end…or giving him some easy work. He responded beautifully with that method.

Hi again MATT Yup yup! A plan paying attention and quitting on a good note is what I've always done. What needs to be worked on paying attention to the horse how he's working his energy and intention and ending on that good note leaving him with something positive to think about and enjoying all the praise. 10 or 45 whatever works best at the time. Always good to see you and thx again for sharing.

I experienced this last night… she was turning amazing, went back to loping and tried spins again and she was just running forward small circles so went off to loping and she tripped… I decided she was tired She been off since thanksgiving and this was probably her third ride since being off all winter
