Hi again MATT This is your year guy! You and Carlo will get it done this time. He's way cool and looks incredibly fun to ride. So happy you found him... As you get the 16 done and you're working toward The Million don't forget to take good care of yourself. Nutritionally and brain power too. Positive thinking and seeing your winning run in your mind's eye over and over again will serve you well. Stay strong and confident not allowing any doubt or negative thoughts in to sabotage all your hard work and preparations. This is going to be an awesome and most memorable time for you Matt. Can hardly wait cause you soo deserve it. Thx as always for sharing. It would be super if you could do a couple updates with you two as you get ready. See ya again soon...

Also would really like a video on how to get more forward motion in the spin. I’ve been riding one who likes to suck back a lot and spin like a bottle. Even after a spin it’s hard to get her to step forward.
@robynmorris79453 жыл бұрын
That Carlo is amazing…can’t imagine what it will be like when you are a team. Now me, I would have vertigo on those spins to the right😜. You are very lucky to be able to have an unlimited schooling. Lots of work but oh so good for all the horses!

Great videos who's the bit maker of the bit on the first horse?
@elisag20553 жыл бұрын
Matt, will you please make a video of your favorite reining saddles. Like a variety from affordable for the average joe, mid price, to high end? Maybe favorite but makers too? Looking for a new saddle and correctional and not sure where I should be looking. Was thinking about getting a continental reining saddle. But I would really appreciate your opinion.

Love your videos Matt! Can you do a video on fitness for reining riders? Would love to hear your thoughts on what to prioritize in a work out program for equestrians.

That horse at the end is one fast fast spinner, what is the purpose of wrapping the knees. I have seen some only one wrap and others with 2. Also how is spinning a part of showing horses, for example what is it gleamed from? I understand calf roping as a part of bringing calves to the fire. So what does reining represent? Thanks
@kirstib13 жыл бұрын
Knee wraps protect the knees from injuries. These horses spin so fast and front legs cross so fast that the knees can be bumped and swell.
@MLOCharmer3 жыл бұрын
@@kirstib1 maybe they shouldn't go so fast?

@@mattmillsreining1 while it looks cool Matt I'm truly trying to find where this sport, reining, specif spinning gets its foundation from? Is it from roping calves that run wildly in the branding pen? I'm here to learn. I'm an English snob so I am not savvy about western traditions.
