Best interview of John Laws ever. Have a soft spot for John as mum listened to him like a devotee through the 70s and 80s when she was alone during the day so I was exposed to his golden voice and shows as a young kid too. Can't help think of my beautiful mum, God bless her and gone now, whenever I see or hear John.

The man with the golden tonsils. Sometimes controversial, sometimes bitter, but always entertaining. A true Aussie legend

Denton always did such a great job of researching and preparing for these interviews. People were in awe of his interviews at the time. He did well handling Laws in this one too.

Yes it seems really old. Probably mid 00's, yes. Looks like that. Amazing how much has changed on Tv even since just then. That kids do format doesn't exist anymore. The live studio audience and the long interview. The whole set up has disappeared as TV itself is dead. Try and watch free-to-air TV now and it's all completely unwatchable. Only reality TV, rubbish cheap game shows, really bad woke current affairs shows like the project or a current affair, animal shows and zero entertainment.

I liked him but his politics was way too right wing for me.

You don't have to like people's politics. People have a right to their opinion. I quite like him because he was just himself. Unlike people today who are all fake and pretend to care about everything but really are selfish. People from his generation were just more authentic. I can't stand the woke culture of today.

@@theodoreconstantini2548 So you believe 8 billion people can only have two options that's rather restrictive isn't it ? And why do we never hear about mainstream or middle politics because it doesn't exist. The computer companies want you fighting amongst yourself so you Don't realise what they're actually doing . Just like woke bommer gen this gen that All designed to put you in groups that are supposed to hate each other So you're taking your anger out on them and not the people who are screwing you over . I come from a carnival family and every technique the Internet is using to make money out of people we used to use, people don't realise how evil the Internet is because they're too busy Defending their group.
