Nice job, man! I have lots of questions for my first purchase of an E bike, but I am really into the research just confused a bit about certain things

I just ordered during Black Friday. Our first ebike. Belt drive and Pinion gearbox really sold it. Especially for my wife, simpler the better.

Congrats! I think you made a good choice. I bought mine as soon as they released it and it’s by far the best e-bike I’ve ever ridden. Enjoy!

Great review of this bike. A lectric bike was my first choice when I wanted an ebike but being in the uk they don't deliver to the uk because now I would have chosen this one. Lovely and quiet and a good all round bike. Great review.

Heybike Cityrun: $1000 ; Lectric Xpress 750: $1300; Aventon Level 2: $1600 today; Radster Road: $2200 and Aventon's new Abound SR: $2200. My preference and my on-hand ca$h are at odds...

Aloha Tom, I've seen the option for a second battery and was wondering if it's installed somewhere on the bike or if it's a switch out. Thanks, and great videos!
@tomsgadgetgarage2 күн бұрын
Hello! So for the ONE it’s going to be a switch out. It should fit in a saddlebag on the rear rack no problem.

Thanks for the speedy response! I'm looking at picking the ONE this Christmas with extra the battery.

Killin me, sweet ebike and a cx9. Just sold my 2022 cx9 and got a honda truck. I loved how that car drove, miss it badly

Mazda really does make some nice cars. Their new CX-90 looks pretty sweet inside. That Honda truck will probably last forever though. My parents bought a 2006 Ridgeline brand new and still drive it today with over 400k miles.

Great review! I'm thinking the only things this bike needs is a full suspension, (alot of arm pump on the downhill), and some kind of regenerative braking.

While i like Lectric company . I even own a Lectric 3.0 im holding off on any more from Lectric until they finally upgrade the battery pack . That’s all that’s left . I don’t care how fancy a bike shifts gears if the battery pack is really small . That trip you just made would have been impossible if the whole time in pedal assist 5 . For me at weighing a bit more i would not have even made it half way . The battery pack is major cheap with 18650 Chinese cells (but they do work well). Upgrade to 21700 cells . Samsung 50e cells and I’m back on board . If you look at the e-bike market right now at the $1500-$2300 price range 48v10ah is the smallest of any and all e-bikes in the $2000 range . While a little heavier but very portable unless things change with Lectric battery packs , im looking at the Juiced bikes Jet current pro for $2300 . Cadence and torque sensor . A lot more power and much larger battery capacity . All in all Lectric is a great company and top notch service . I have experienced Lectric service with a friend of mine and my own Lectric ebike personally and the service was A+

I have an Lectric one. You are spot on about the battery. It has been the biggest disappointment. I am hoping to find a way to get a better battery. I got the long range battery that was advertised to travel 60 miles and I only got 28 the first time and 20 miles the second time. Obviously that isn’t close to 60 miles.

@@puppylove4506 Why not get a second battery? The Lectric One and the Juiced bike Jet Pro are hardly comparable once you ride with Pinion and Gates belts.

Thanks for this awesome review. How hard is it to ride this at PAS 1? I'm wondering if I can get some workout on relatively flat roads with this.
@tomsgadgetgarage3 ай бұрын
Thank you! PAS 1 & 2 are really nice. My preference is PAS 2 as I can cruise around 15mph and get a workout in while in the right gear. You can do the same at PAS 1 but you’ll be limited to a slower speed.
@VinnyAndSweetPea3 ай бұрын
Great video. Thanks! If you ride downhill in PAS 0, which would be no paddle assist, are you still limited to 20 or 28 MPH ?

Lectric mostly makes folding bikes to get to the mountain. Too bad you didn't show how this model fit in on the trip - to & fro.

I made that ride a couple months ago. If you go on Sunday mornings, they actually close the road to car traffic from 5am-10am. Also, 4th Sunday of each month they close the road to car traffic all day.
