This company is THE BEST company ever. We own 2 of their units, 1 - 3.0 and the other a trike and we really enjoy them. Lectric has been nothing short of OUTSTANDING when it comes to their employees and service staff they cannot be beaten. Never met the owners, but if they are anything like their employyes they must be as awesome. Their is a saying in business, "Great Employees are usually a direct reflection of great Leaders." I truly believe this about this company because I have had ZERO "0" problems with any of them. They are professional, courteous, helpful and go out of their way to verbally administer safety. What more could you ask? Keep up the great work Lectric.

@@guillermoortiz1492 you should call Lectric and ask them that question about the plus1 seat. That one should be good for your son and I think he’ll love it. Thanks! I guess one of the things Insta360 claims makes their cameras ’special’ vs the gopro is the ability to show hill and slope angles better. I was pleasantly shocked when I began editing how well it truly showed the slope of the hill. That day we had 3 Insta360 cameras with us and it was a lot of fun. When time permits, I’m going back again and getting cameras put in strategic angles to get a good video made of the bike unlocked on throttle only doing the climb. I may even ask John (if he’s willing) to ride on the one-seater rack attachment with me to carry a total load of 375 pounds.

I will definitely go back when I have a free day and do a throttle only test with some kind of load on it (like another adult) now that I unlocked it to be a class 3 bike. Rads are great bikes, but I wouldn’t try them on this hill. I’ve reviewed dozens of e-bikes and I think I may have only ridden 1 other ebike that could make it but it was a 1500w nominal motor so not technically street legal in most of the US. Even my expensive 750w high performance e-bikes would probably burn out the motor controller trying this incline.

IDK, it looked like quite a struggle getting up that hill to me. If you can do it on throttle alone and go at least 10mph all the way up then I'd be impressed. I doubt this e-bike can do that. In Seattle, WA there are hills everywhere, and I think you'd need a lot more power than 750w to get around here. Maybe if they put another 750w motor on the front.

I agree with the PWR mode of cadence sensor power management. I’d rather choose the amount of effort the motor gives me than who knows what power to accelerate to a certain speed. More natural feeling and easier to maintain control of the bike. I don’t like how the cadence sensor on my Espin Nesta rushes to a certain speed then drops the motor assist once I reach it. Turns out my 5 year old Mate. ebike must use a similar power scheme because its motor doesn’t stop helping once a certain speed is reached if I don’t keep upping the PAS level as I accelerate. However, for most riding, I still prefer a torque sensor. But this bike will be better, with its PWR cadence system, for hauling or towing heavy cargo.

If you like full 4” fat tires and speeds a little over 27mph, the ocelot goes a tad bit faster (at least the one I tested) The new tech in the XPedition’s cadence sensor is kind of amazing and almost runs like a modified torque sensor. Not sure if that helps. Both or top bikes and we use them a ton. The Ocelot is our main camera bike due to the speed and ease of riding. Man that's just unbelievable how ugly that bike is all that on the back looks like it's skeletonized out I don't like the looks of it at all

😂 that’s so funny! I actually love the look. I know others who agree with you and some who say they love it like me. I’m not sure why I like it so much except that when you see it up close, for me it just gets more awesome looking. Haha. Could be that I just like the lectric design style and it just seems very familiar.

I plan to go back and do a full throttle only with an extra 200 pound guy on the back making the payload 375 total pounds. I was impressed with what I did in this video, but hopefully it can impress you when I go back one day. Lectric’s team says they think it can make it, I personally have my doubts, but we’ll see.

There is no way that bike (or any 1300w peak with 85nm torque ebike for that matter) is going up that 33% grade hill with an extra 200 lbs on the back rack on throttle alone. Can we come back to reality please? If you felt like it was about to pop a wheelie while going up that 33% grade with you alone, just wait till you have a weight like that hanging off the back. Though seeing you huff it up that hill in 20amp mode was impressive. Also, the ridiculous claim you can go full throttle and travel 150 miles at full throttle is just fluff. Their site says in PAS 1 on a flat road with two batteries will go 150 miles.

This is a bullshit test. Put a larger person on it and put on some cargo, then do the hill test…

That’s the plan. We really want to try 2 of us on it to bring it up to about 370lbs. We just need to find the time and figure out a way to make sure we don’t fall off. The grade of the hill is so steep the bike would flip back if someone is on the back and they also need to be able to hold on at the angle we would be at when going up. As the 2nd or 3rd steepest hill in the US, it’s unlikely anyone needs to worry about anything less. This ebike truly is amazing for only a 750watt ebike. My friend who is over 200lbs takes his 2 kids to elementary school (at the same time) on it every morning and picks them up in a very hilly neighborhood. It definitely outperforms many (maybe every) ebikes similar in design, specs, and price. I’m not sure it will do that hill with 2 people, but it would definitely be a “real” cool test!
