as salamualaikum sis! I am having the same experience with Instagram and ads. Always new hijab companies, and on my old profile I kept seeing ads promoting Sihir! Authu billah. It’s getting ridiculous because everyone is selling something. I strongly believe that social media and media all together desensitizes us. So you leaving it, and living in a healthy environment is restoring your sensibilities. I hope this makes sense♥️

Can I be friends with you? 🥺I have the exact same experience as you. My anxiety was through the roof because of Instagram. Since i deleted it and my account I feel so much better. I could not stand the empty meaningless vanity of ig. Even when people post positive content somehow it's always tied to their beauty. I enjoy listening to your experiences.
