I just did a city model using a similar technique. I was actually inspired by one of your previous tutorials on that red chair. I now did it again with a reflector and it looks a million times better... again I'm speachless. Great work!

Could you please show me the result? Is it produce better shadow?
@ptc45664 жыл бұрын
@@NBCNothingButCrap i need the clients permission first to show it. But it does look better on the bounced light and you can also see the building volumes better without making them too contrasting. Also the texture itself looks so good. I tried different hue colors and it takes it to the next level indeed.

Great tutorial ... very useful! Please let me give you a suggestion for the next tut: what about setting Enscape for light design? I am a light designer and would love to use Enscape to reproduce existing lamps on the market, respecting technical characteristics such as lux, candle, etc. Is that possible? Thanks a lot!
@Modulusrender4 жыл бұрын
Thank you! And thanks for the suggestion. The best Enscape can do is mimic a real light visually. In order to render with the technical specs of a real light and have a real life result, you need an unbiased render engine and Enscape is realtime so it won't be exact.
@manosvamvacoussis93724 жыл бұрын
Hello , really nice job... how did you do the domes ....? The little disc shapes are illuminated material or spot lights ? Also in the center of every dome is a disc/cylinder, are those a light also or just geometry that blocks the light ? And one more question, do you need to paint the domes white or other color ....thanks .
@Modulusrender4 жыл бұрын
The domes are semi spheres with thickness. The lights are disc lights, native to Enscape (not spotlights or emissive material). The cylinder in the middle of the dome is there to block the direct light. If the domes are black they are almost invisible in a black studio. If the domes are white they would work for a white studio but if they are a lighter color, it will increase the bounces of the light and the lights will be brighter.

Hey, great work. What are the intensities of the disc and the cone light's
@Modulusrender3 жыл бұрын
Thank you. The disc lights are at 1000 lm and radius 3cm. The cone light in the back is 9500 cd and 60 degree beam angle. The cone light that shines on the orange reflector is set at 13.500 cd and the beam angle is 50 degrees.

Is impresive what you achieve by using softwares "not that powerful". Just multiple copy the light along an arc and then rotate copies of that arc and you have what would look like the interior of a semisphere.
