My son is a seer he is 11 now. His gift started when he was 4. Everything he has ever claimed to know has happened from deaths to births. It warms my heart that he has this. He is able to communicate with a higher power. I love that for him!! ❤

Aunt Caroline became a very wealthy woman and her services wasn't free, ppl paid her very well and even searched for her money and a supposed hidden treasure when she passed. I too love the energy of her card in the Hoodoo Tarot, its like her giving a wink!

Hoodoo is a form of chaos magic which is arguably the most powerful and dominant forms of magic. It works with so many different belief systems. I was raised a Jehovah’s Witness but I found a book on psalms magic. Even though magic was banned Black JWs practice lots of hoodoo without knowing it. Once I branched out spiritually I met so many different people with different beliefs. It’s great because you get to shape your reality in harmony with your beliefs instead of having to conform with some central belief system. It creates a diversity of manifestations.

@@BeverleySterlingschizophrenic means you don’t have any control you are often paranoid and think someone is coming for you . Schizophrenia is a mental disorder . You don’t have any control you are “pushed” to do things and you have visual hallucinations. People will know cause to the outside word you are a mess( words salad+ confused+ weird body language/facial expressions) you are not schizophrenic if you have to ask. It is one of the worst mental disorders

At the age of 4 my gifts started in the church. I follow the page to become educated on beliefs instead of forming my own. I’ve been told by Ashanti, Igbo and Yoruba in Africa, I would be an Obeah Woman. I work in herbalism, dreams, interpretations, laying hands, seeing spirits, etc. I’ve come to learn gifts and callings come without repentance. Our people have always been powerful. Sounds like she created boundaries with her gifts as not to mess with the fates.

My people is from Spartanburg and Cow Pens I recently learned the slave owner who owned my people is Benjamin Wofford the founder of Wofford College in Spartanburg…. I wish I knew deeper although I know he enslaved my people I wish I knew more about all the slaves that he held captive! (Or owned) My grandmother was a Wofford and she was part Cherokee the way folks speak of her is that she had long black thick coily hair like the Indians…. It would be soooo astonishing if Aunt Caroline Dye came across my people by helping them with an ailment or two…

Thank you, Yaya. I don’t know how I even founded your page. I am not a participant in the different practices, I am someone who is a believer in spirituality and Christianity, and I firmly believe that you, as a black person, cannot be of Christian faith without being a believer in spirituality as well. It warms my heart and brings me joy to learn more about Arkansas and the history that is still there. My family is from Arkansas, slaves and all, and my great grandmother would ALWAYS tell me stories about our family and the slaves and what they experienced and how many of the graves that are down there are some unmarked people. She always told me, “If these trees could talk.” There were so many things that women would say that would send chills down my spine. But the more and more that I learn about all the blacks that lived there. I am reminded of how powerful we indeed are.
