When we go to Ifá the source , Eshu is ÈSÚ ONITOJU ASE and ÈSÚ ÀYANMÓ - IPIN. The Divine messenger of Destiny and the Source of spritual power. He doesn’t scrutinise people based on blood or culture but of Asé. Which is why he can manifest in 21 different forms trickster and messenger. Elegua can manifest in the 100s. I’d like to see the credentials of some of you talking because you guys are talking madness when I know white people that have plenty of means to fuck your life up if you cross spritual taboos with Eshu and all his sycrestisms in ADR’s.

i don't really inmerge myself in complex religious practices, but i resonate a lot with asking for help and honoring family members who passed away and that i had a good relationship with, each time i ask my father for help, he delivers it. and i always found it more reasonable to get help from someone you knew and loved.

A few years ago, Papa Legba suddenly appeared in my life. Although I've been a long-time student of the occult, I had never heard of him before. I mean, he was *everywhere*. In a dream. In a close friends vision. On a shrine at an apartment party. On a television show. In a book. Showed up during my boss's acid trip etc. Etc. I did a lot of research after this, but in the end concluded his energy was not concurrent with my own. It was still wild though, to have a deity seemingly "reach out" to me through a series of synchronicities and occurrences. I have never experienced anything quite like that before, or since.
@13lilsykos Жыл бұрын
First, I love your SN. LOL! Secondly, if he was appearing everywhere to you and people who knew you, to me that would suggest that he was trying to contact to you in some way... I mean, he WAS making contact. Maybe I am not understanding what you mean by "concurrent with my own".

Check out L.A Banks “Vampire Hunter” series. Its entire main cast of characters is Black. The main heroine is Black, and there’s lots of Adinkra, Christian and other religious folklore in the books. Ms Banks has passed away, sadly… but her literary contributions to the horror genre will last the rest of time and hopefully inspire other authors.

The part about not posting tho!! I joined a few online groups bc I'm a solitary witch and figured it would be a good way to meet like minded people. These people were posting pics of their grimoires, book of shadows, altars and all kinds of personal things! I was flabbergasted, like why?! My spell book is like my diary, nobody gets to see it but me. It just felt like some of the people were showing off and not being genuine. I noped out pretty quickly.😊

I know the feeling. There was an alleged witch on the old Joan Rivers show,who looked strange ,brandished a sword, and was letting Joan handle her altar pieces. She was pretty smart,though. Joan asked the inevitable question, " Can yoh cast a love spell for me?"🙄 She replied, " If you want to be loved,you have to do the work,yourself," I got newsletters from her coven,and, quite enjoyed them.

You are not kidding about respect. I had a powerful experience with making an offering at an alter in a temple in New Orleans back in ‘96, pre Katrina. I made an offering of a medallion I liked, at an alter, asking for just fair opportunity to find a job. Then soon after “BAM” I was given two(one was a clerk for Tarot readers, lol). And then I was guided down a path to escape a toxic relationship, and live in the Vieux Carré and being subsidized for the rent, paying less than 40percent. The worst part is I didn’t even know who I was making an offering too. I just felt draw to his alter.

Hi Yaya. I heard about this. I believe that she told the group that it was PaPa, but she described him as wearing a top hat. Which i believed would be The Baron. Her trouble was she crossed the streams. Didn't the guy in Ghostbusters told people not to do that? If you going to be in Voodoo you should know the pillars of the religion. You cannot ride 2 horses at the same time.

I'm apart of Haitian Vodou. There are multiple lwa titled Baron; Baron Samedi, Baron Kriminel, Baron La Kwa, and so on. There are many lwa who wear top hats. Furthermore, people like to say it was Samedi. This isn't true at all and not even how the lwa work. No lwa came to this girl let alone Samedi.

Loved the video. I did want to give some insight regarding when you mentioned that you need permission in order to read someone. I've been reading for about 20 years and in my experience, I can read anyone. You and I need to give permission to the person because you and I are spiritually protected either through initiations and what not and to penetrate that energy is not easy. However, the average person is spiritually 'open' because theyre spiritually lost or do not have a strong faith-based. They are easily penetrated and thus you can read them. If I wanted to read my waitress without her permission, I can do so. But the case of morality is truly dependent from person to person. So I fully respect why you wouldn't do something like this.
@___Neo___ Жыл бұрын
You can believe that you're reading anyone, yet the information that you receive may not be the truth, yet because it's coming to you, you believe it to be true. It has nothing to do with your protection or one's lack thereof. You're speaking as if the entities on this planet, in human form, are humans. Your eyes will deceive you, so then will the messages that you receive.
@LandAWanderlust Жыл бұрын
I agree. That's why I make a commitment to myself not to run to my cards to answer everything. Using my other spiritual gifts, like discernment, is just as important. But without a doubt, I haven't encountered a person I couldn't read.
