Herbrand Larsen was always my favorite part of Enslaved. His vocals brought so much to the table in terms of atmosphere and emotion. Was very sad when he left the band but Håkon is an excellent successor! Love "E" and the two new tracks from the new album. Herbrand and Cato will be missed dearly

theodore tait Nope. Amon Amarth was gonna be a grindcore band in 1988. They released a few demos and an EP in 1992 called Thor Arise. Their first album was in 1998. They didn't do much in the 90s though, that's true. But they did exist. Enslaved on the other hand formed in 1991 and released their first two albums in 1994, Vikingr Veldi and Frost.
